While most main characters or other characters mostly plow through with their crush even when said crush had already rejected them or is in a relationship, and it’s sometimes fine, sometimes hateful depending on the plot and that character’s importance to the story, it is also very, very commendable for a main character to know when to give up and for the story to not make it look like cowardice or something contemptible but just natural as it is basic self-respect and respect to the other person. So I like this story, I like Li Li and I liked it even when he gave up and completely and immediately cut all ties, however meager they were, to the object of his affection unlike others who does not understand “no” or does not respect a committed couple or those who only half-heartedly say they give up while still brushing their annoying presence everywhere because they have no courage to confess and be rejected also no courage to completely walk away.

Didn’t like the uke. This is what romanticizing stalkers are, when a work makes the readers sympathize and resonate with a stalker by veiling it with vague reasons like pursuing dreams and true love… nah, man, it’s just plain stalking and forcing yourself on an unwilling individual (house was a coincidence but uke literally entered the AV industry to meet seme, and even if they lived in the same apartment complex by coincidence, having someone constantly ambush you outside your own home even if it’s your neighbor and even if just for a simple greeting or small talk, after you’ve clearly shown and stated how unwilling you are to have dealings with them is still understandably uncomfortable). I get it, the other party has a lot of baggage and a pushy partner was exactly what he needed but before uke knew that, seme could have been any other ordinary bloke who tends to be an asshole but surely also has rights to privacy and personal boundaries.

Hey, hey, no matter what, if anyone ships GoFushi, it’s always gonna be against the law, right? Being straightforward like this is also good.

Lots of people in the comments liked Chapter 6. For me, it doesn’t make much sense and is therefore not very good. In a world where the population of men is very scarce as compared to women and repopulation of the Earth is urgently required, it doesn’t make much sense to rely on something as unreliable and time-consuming as sex. It just doesn’t make the best of the existing scarce resources. A man ejaculates how many sperm cells at a time, but if it’s only inside one woman, only one (or two) succeed(s) to fertilize one (or two) egg(s), and most of the time, fertilization might not even really succeed. Why don’t the humans of that world just stop sex and just use the sperm cells and directly inject them into a woman’s body through artificial means, or even better, grow test tube babies inside a laboratory. Put more money and effort into researching the best technology for the creation of new life and don’t rely on people as if they’re stud horses or breeding pigs. They’re all just playing losing games, forcing sex into something of a job with scheduled sessions. Then what, when the women get pregnant and they give birth to sons, will those boys just grow up to be breeders? I mean, from the background scenes, it certainly didn’t look like this world has lost any of its technology and it also wasn’t mentioned that fertility rates had gone down? There just was a very skewed ratio of a very small population. For a species that constantly seeks pleasure and sex being one of the most pleasurable biological activity, is it really so hard a task to repopulate? Just leave the people alone and soon enough there won’t be enough breathing space for one person to afford. To start grooming a child in primary school that it is his duty to the species as a male to breed and then schedule him sex with multiple women at high school, just how many years has it been and just how much longer will this problem continue on? Just how incompetent are these world leaders? Or is there something more sinister at work in the background and this is all just a situation higher-ups construed to keep the ordinary people occupied? Something like, there isn’t actually anything like a harrowing decline in population, or male population in particular, it was just designed to be to keep everyone in check, is that it? That’s scary. In a really crazy thought, (as a woman myself) was this designed by women to keep men in check and lord over them in disguise? Lololol

SPOILERS: The whole body swap event (or at least my interpretation of it which I think is around 90% correct… hopefully)



At Ch8, subordinate seme (Aesang) resigned and then wished a curse upon his bad boss (Hanseol). At Ch 9, their souls woke up at each other’s bodies, which means although we see Hanseol waking up at Aesang’s house and Aesang calling him from the CEO’s office, we’re actually just looking at their souls. The bodies they inhabit are the other person’s which is shown only when they look in the mirror and as how other characters see them. They themselves don’t perceive the switch when looking at the other person, which means to say that Hanseol can only see that he is inside Aesang’s body when looking at the mirror and he still sees Aesang as Aesang even though in real life, he should be looking at his own face and body with another soul inhabiting it. Notice how at Ch 11, when Hanseol was doing the crazy ritual dance, Aesang did not find it funny or strange until he noticed the reflection of the dancer on the glass windows and saw it was actually his own face and body being used by Hanseol to dance. In Ch 12, they were talking about how Hanseol slapped Aesang and how it shouldn’t hurt their feelings as they were essentially just slapping their own bodies but Aesang couldn’t slap Hanseol because even though he knew it was actually his own body that he was slapping and not actually Hanseol’s face, he said: “Sure, you’re in my body… but what I see in front of me is you, Hanseol.” Then in Ch 13, when they started kissing, we see these sparkles and this pink aura-like effect, which I first assumed was just to give the panel a romantic feeling, but was actually visible to them, just that Aesang was too far gone and Hanseol was too intoxicated to actually pay attention to it, maybe he even thought he was just dizzy and seeing things. This effect was actually the indicator that they had already switched their bodies back. They don’t notice because even though they were in each other’s bodies, they still retained their perception of the other and their own body’s senses. Hanseol said: “So I’ve been thinking about this. Even though our souls have switched places, the physical sensations I feel are exactly the same, isn’t that strange?” He described it as “It’s as if we’ve entered an upside down world where both our minds and bodies remain the way they used to be.” He further said: “Are you sure you’re okay with this? Even though what we see is each other (Hanseol see Aesang and vice versa)… in reality, it would be me doing you.” They still haven’t realized that they’ve already switched back since the kiss so everything afterwards was actually Aesang topping Hanseol both in reality and in their perspective and there was never anything like Hanseol’s body topping Aesang’s body. Their perspective of each other even when in the other’s body really doesn’t change from their original and they’re also high on alcohol so it would have been pretty hard to notice the switch back. In Ch 14, there were hints like Hanseol thinking that his body’s erection (that Aesang should have had) should really not have been as big as what he’s feeling at the moment coming from Aesang and Aesang saying that no matter what, he really feels like he’s touching the real Hanseol even though it should have logically been his own body that he was touching at the moment. Ch 15 is when Hanseol first realized that something was not quite right since his own body should not have had the stamina that Aesang currently had so he starts to doubt if their souls really had been switched in the first place, then a thought comes and he realizes that maybe at some point in the very immediate past, they might have already switched back into their original bodies and just hadn’t noticed yet so he starts looking for a mirror but it wasn’t until quite some good time later that they were finally able to check and confirm that they had indeed switched back to their own bodies through the bathroom mirror when their reflections were the correct faces and bodies. Hanseol then suspects the strange light he thought was just his imagination, while Aesang was just confused and unaware, having not noticed the phenomenon Hanseol did. They were also unsure what the trigger was (they were reasonably suspecting the sex) but they were pretty convinced the light was the indicator of the switch. And that’s the end of that for the body swap.

It wasn’t bad, but honestly, it was just so basic, and for something so basic, it couldn’t even be a classic… While other stories are just making symphonies out of their intricacies, subtleties, and all the feelings, this was just so linearly boring like a blank staff paper. There was just no feels and fun during and no satisfaction after. Bland.

And I don’t think uke had right feeling traumatized cowardice due to past failed romances or the right to o around saying he matches his romantic partner and be called a romantic when from what was seen in the flashbacks of his past, it seemed like he was the problem all along. It wasn’t even an issue of his partner cheating or not giving him enough love, they just got drained and tired from waiting and not being given enough time and love. I dunno too, maybe they were asking for too much in the first place? That wasn’t revealed as the reason, though. I think, in the beginning, they thought uke was someone who would give equally to the relationship, like maybe he really matches his partner in the beginning of the relationship, then later he just takes and takes while not giving enough? That’s why they would say that the two of them don’t click as much as they expected? I mean, just how many times did it happen for a partner to just give up and ask if it’s “work, again”? And uke be saying I grow attached to my partners, how attached can you be when you brush them off so much so they just wanna break up? Even with seme, uke is just receiving and receiving without giving just because he’s loved and seme confessed first and uke pretends to be dumb about it, like he doesn’t realize at all that maybe it’s his personality that’s making him be dumped all along. It was halfway through the last chapter when he had the decency to even give the basic sincerity that seme has all along been giving him from the start. That’s just a big, red flag to be honest. And seme be promising he’s confident to be able to love the uke forever? Are you sure though? You want to pamper and be pampered in your relationship but I sure as hell don’t see the uke pampering you at all? Maybe, you’re gonna realize that later and then dump him and then the uke will make it be your problem like he done nothing wrong and grieve ‘cause he got his heart broken by you for “no reason”. I just don’t see them lasting, unless uke changes his game.

Guys, hello. For those who see grooming, you’re probably seeing it right. I mean “Pavlov’s” Lover? Yeah. Honestly, I don’t care either way. This is probably a work that’s gonna be a bit controversial - a high schooler, an age gap, and grooming? But it’s fiction and as long as it stays on paper, peachy! That’s why for those who understand the previous sentence, this might be good, but for those who cannot differentiate between fiction and reality, it could be bad, in various sorts of ways.

Anyways, did anyone see that one panel with Zoro and Sanji? And what’s more, this was a plot that could work for a fanfiction of them, right?!

I’m just gonna forget about Ch 33-36 because, honestly, it felt so random and Toya suddenly went OOC. I mean, he’s not always perfect but that sudden doubt came out of nowhere… Didn’t they just recently both clear up their beef with Ono when Ono shared his friend’s experiences as a reason for his dislike for the both of them? And didn’t Toya confidently promise Ono that he’d show him his and Kazuma’s perfect relationship? What happened to that? It’s not that Ono is all that trustworthy since he has a record but isn’t Toya always with Kazuma anyway? With what time did he think Kazuma had to hook up with Ono? The few minutes his asswipe brother basically threatened Kazuma to run errands for them while they both stayed chatting with the girls? If he was so insecure, he should have just come along with Kazuma??

No, I dunno… Kanata kinda disgusts me somewhat. I dunno, sorry…
