This is probably one of the best psychological BL manhwa right now in the BL world. I’m so glad the author did not romanticize the relationship between Minho and the ML. I would like to think at the end of the final chapter it was kind of a bittersweet moment for Minho because now he is going back to his abuser/rapist yet still he’s the only one in the world right now that actually loves Minho. I have nothing to say about the ML other than his bitch ass mother should have done more than just slapping him. He is absolutely disgusting and I hope he spent his entire life groveling and begging Minho for forgiveness and that he has nightmares of Minho killing himself over and over again.
I’m confused
Am I missing something here?
Why does everyone dislike the ML?
I'm gonna basically copy-paste what I said to another comment:
The ML is nice... but he's rather pushy so far. he and the FL hardly know each other at all and yet he was immediately smitten, and even if he doesn't mean to, he's been pressuring the FL quite a bit. Fl clearly wants to at least take things slowly, and has even rejected him already ("Since I don't even know my own heart, I didn't want to carelessly plant expectations. Or give him false hope.", "I feel like I'll be the one getting hurt.") even if she enjoys the affection and support he's giving her, but he's already dreaming and devoting himself much further than that, going as far to tell her he would continue pursuing her and imagining her meeting his family. ("If I keep clinging to this pathetic, one-sided devotion... Will there come a day... when my aunt and Yeon-woo finally meet?")
While this absolutely has room to grow and change, right now it feels like ML could turn out just like every other ML.
The way FL often thinks also feels like foreshadowing right now, as well as the way this is titled The "Villain's" pure love, yet we've yet to see any villainous behavior.
"Could a voice hiding a secret motive really sound so sweet?" (Chap 26)
"I can feel so well that those words are not obsession and restriction, but care and love."
It just feels like it won't be much time before the other shoe drops.
I dislike the FL so bad because all the barking/threats she’s telling the ML on what she’s going to do to him and not once did she actually do anything. It’s irritating the author is trying to portray her as a strong female character but the story is giving everything but that. She seems like a damsel in distress which I don’t necessarily mind but it’s the way how the author is writing her it’s making me dislike her so bad. If she actually backed up what she’s saying it would make me like her so much more.

Taejoo is such a bird for Alejandro during the early chapters of this manhwa.
