Idk if it's a case of wrong translation or if the translator just literally translated the dialogues without bothering to make them sound natural. Something that makes perfect sense to a Japanese might sound odd to an English speaker. It's a pity because this story has potential, just the right amount of fluff, and all of that gets 'lost in translation', because you have to re-read dialogues trying to make some sense out of them. And that wasn't an issue with the prequel...
It had potential at the beginning... Not much, but it could be interesting. And then it ended so abruptly... As if the author got bored of drawing. Character development sucks. There was no time to get to know them better. So it's a 'nope' from me. And I'm really disappointed that nothing came of Jay/Charles relationship.
