Moments like this I wish I could be the writer cause I would make it a time traveling manhwa where she goes back in time and never meets him again. They lose the manor and struggle but it will be fine. I resent her grandmother because you let her take charge and then get mad that she was thinking of solutions. I am mad at everyone in this book. The writer. The editor...the publisher. I am at that age where I don't see how she can go back to him??. To that lifestyle where they trampled on her. The only solution to the perfect end to this book is if they live there in her country home forever where they occasionally go visit but I will forever hate the author if she makes Erna go back to that society.

Not me sobbing over this manhwa on Valentines day. I broke when she cried in her room and just walked away with everything she came with.

A lot of us here are adults and there is a lot of us who started reading at a young age. There are young people in this platform. I know because I was once in that category. This platform and every other platform have been able to survive because we have all came to a collective agreement to keep our mouths shut about it. But the truth of the matter is we shouldn't have been reading said explicit stuff. You should not be here reading this stuff but I am not one to judge but the discourse happening on tiktok is about adults drawing the line of not wanting to have discussions or sharing with minors about explicit stuff. That is sharing sexual content with a minor and could lead to grooming. It is all kinds of wrong.
Stay safe everyone. Much love.

    well said!

i started reading explicit contents since 13 i am exposed to grooming at such a young age because of it and i do not wish or want to see my younger siblings ever experiencing what I've experienced that's why im very strict with them when it comes to mature contents but still educating them

    RARE INSIGHTS July 17, 2026 1:33 pm

Don't know I m here since I was 13 but yah stories back in days were very censored especially yaoi mangas they didn't used to show dicks tbh and doesn't have gang rape as much as nowadays manhwa bls has so I kindly hope kids don't read those stories which aren't meant for them they better read shounen ai or some cool action stuff till they become mature enough to understand diffrence between fiction and reality cuz teenage mind is very fucked up it always perform on what they read so yah better stay away. Kids.

    readerXwriterfujo July 17, 2026 1:43 pm

    You're spot on honestly.
I've been reading stuff like that from a very tender age, 11 or 12 maybe, I don't really remember...I started off on other sites before I found Mangago, these days as I mature, I find myself less interested in reading excessive porn even though I'm literally legally of age now
Unfortunately, it wouldn't be an overstatement to say a huge percentage of people on sites like this are in fact underaged, you look at the way they speak, their ignorance and how they react to situations and you just know, ain't no way this is a grown adult.
I'm also very concerned about my younger siblings safety because I don't want them to go down the same path I did, because trust me, consuming too much of certain media does in fact affect one adversely.
I wish more people would talk about these issues, but Ig it's because it's going to be a bit difficult to restrict most minors from sites like these.

also i think the lack of discipline among the younger generation has made matters worse. Back when we were young we knew to stfu and just read but now them minors come for your throat and when you say xyz is not like that they play the minor cards. Personally, I feel like we at least had half a mind when we used to read such things and that lamy(?) beefing with a literal 18 yr old gay boy just doesn't sit right. like ik it's american culture to automatically assume that a person becomes magically mature after 18 but it is weird nonetheless.

How did you just speak my mind ?
I can assure you, God forbid one of those fellas come across this discourse of ours, they're going to start cussing us, and labelling us names.
And you're right, it's not just about the age, personally I've met more mature 13 year Olds in real life, than I have 'adults' online.
When you don't share an opinion with them, or you're not giving them the kind of attention they want... you just see a barrage of people coming after you.
And I keep saying this but, nothing, especially not their fragile feelings is going to change the fact that good is good and bad is bad

All kinds of manga genre...all kinds of books and movie with straight characters. We romanticize about Jack and Rose or Damian and Elena. Yet when it's a yaoi. Suddenly it's gross. People are been made to feel ashamed for enjoying that genre? Why? Most don't talk about it in their day to day life. We don't shove it in peoples faces. Some take it to the extreme but why is Yaoi suddenly a problem?

    Ireadphotos July 6, 2020 4:06 am

Because it’s heavily fetishized and written by straight woman for straight woman

    jasper July 6, 2020 4:12 am

You mean movies like “love, Simon” and whatnot?

    or actual yaoi?

Another Lively Day July 6, 2020 4:14 am

It’s could be the same reason as to why people don’t often talk about “being gay” or just gay people in general. It’s different and people don’t understand it, well there are also people who are trying to close the gap by spreading awareness and explaining it’s not that different from a straight relationship. But for the genre Yaoi, it’s mostly known for showcasing a lot of the “explicit” parts of a relationship. Usually, stories or with straight couples revolve more around the plot and characters, not what Fujoshis and Fudanshis often look for in Yaoi. So, many people tend to categorize Yaoi with Hentai...and I guess people don’t just casually talk about hentai? If you were to say, Shounen Ai, I’m sure there wouldn’t be much to feel ashamed about.

    YesButLikeNo July 6, 2020 4:15 am

I don't think it is gross, nor do my friends. I think the reason why there are more people ashamed of liking yaoi is because there is generally alot of sex scenes, I would feel uncomfortable talking about even hetrosexual sex so I avoid mentioning I like yaoi that much unless with close friends as it is pratically talking about porn/hentai. But shounen ai is different, as it is a BxB but without any smut, I always talk about that with friends who share common interests. I have one or two friends who do find it uncomfortable to talk about romance between two males but they always keep respectful.
It is sad someone can feel ashamed for liking a genre, perhaps it is because it is created by straight women, as another comment said, and does really stereotype gay people sometimes, like the terms "seme" and "uke" are quite rare in real life yet so very popular in manga. I am a proud fujoshi but there seems to be a common misconception, that we fujoshi/fundashi see gay men as nothing more than sex toys for our imagination, that is a really disgusting misconception to be honest. Also, maybe it is because themes like rape, incest, threesomes, etc. are much more common in yaoi then hetrosexual mangas? I am just guessing as to reasons why yaoi may be so 'infamous' so to speak.

    GrayManFace-chan July 6, 2020 4:22 am

I don't think mainstream media should be compared to yaoi. That's like asking why people are fine with violence in action films but are turned off by torture porn. Maybe.
