I don't get why there's a lot of people criticizing the character or saying the story is shit. Can't you just drop it when you know this is not your type of story? I mean some people enjoy plot like this y'know. And duh it's not like a toxic characters are not common, mostly in the begging of the story.

Because in her previous life, he couldn't look at her and tell that's his daughter and just believed the mirror, so wth happened to his judgment in the previous life and now? Very bizarre
The grim reaper in the first chapter looks like the one in the Black Butler. He gives that vibe but minus the craziness part of Undertaker.
