I don't get why there's a lot of people criticizing the character or saying the story is shit. Can't you just drop it when you know this is not your type of story? I mean some people enjoy plot like this y'know. And duh it's not like a toxic characters are not common, mostly in the begging of the story.

Oh so Daphne became tree just like in the legend. How... disappointing, I thought I was gonna get a good happy ending. The art is so fine that I forgot how toxic it is.
Please author o beg you give them a happy ending. At least this version of their story they become happy in the end please.
