Based on the author former projects, she doesn't really seem into toxic relationships. Her characters may have their flaws but once they get together it's mainly to heal and lift up one another. I hope she keeps the same kind of plot here

technically in this latest chapter there is noncon but it’s not malicious in any way. their relationship is wholesome and the guy’s doing it for the other’s benefit which is just that typical plot point that makes no sense irl lol but again there’s love and affection behind it so if that’s okay with you! just wanted to bring that up in case that still makes you uncomfortable !
