The cover pic looks nothing like the art style in the story, stop fooling ppl

    Classy March 29, 2024 4:52 am

its the author artstyle tbh from the poster.. maybe the author wanna make it more simple to make it easily for em to draw the subject freely…

    Boobs March 29, 2024 5:23 am

the art still looks good asl and its not like having a more detailed cover compared to the manhwa is anything new (~_~)

    qodheow March 29, 2024 5:37 am

It's just the shading that's different, author make it more detailed for the cover some othe author actually does the same

    Morohtar March 29, 2024 11:14 am

It is the same. The comic art simply lacks detailwork which is mandatory for illistrations basically.

You should not forget that illustrations and comic art are very different from one another when it comes to detailwork. Shading, highlighting and colouring are cranked to perfection in an illustration, that however makes no sense for the comic itself as it is too time consuming and mostly unnecessary.
Hence why you should only judge the style, not the colouring. And the style (lineart, facial features, etc.) are indeed still the same in both illustration and comic.

    hid0ne March 29, 2024 11:30 am

The art in cover looks similar to the art in the manhwa. It gave me the feeling both arts matching despite arts in covers half of the times are more detailed.

    Crimson Bites March 29, 2024 11:43 am

More detailed panels takes longer and people will just look at it for 3 seconds then move onto another text.

"Oh but another artist-" Well, everyone chooses what's convenient and what's inconvenient. As an artist myself, I think less detailed panels are easier and doesn't take too much energy, I could get it done in 2 days, more or less. It's what convenient ME, it must be the same for the artist as well.

That first part sums it up well. Precisely!

People will not bother with shading, highlights and so on in a comic itself. That has, is and always will be the norm because chapters need to be finished quickly enough and detailed art is not the focus of comics in the first place. Only very rarely will you see webcomics or korean webtoons that will bother going full throttle with detailwork.

    Analogy time!
The idea of a coverart/illustration and the comic pages being the same in appearance/level of effort is similar to thinking a done up pretty lady will ALWAYS look like that, whereas she will only bother putting on a cocktail dress and do her her like a Hollywood star when she goes out on events that call for such efforts. X'D

It's not even a standard to begin with, full detail comics, I mean. And it is NOT something new either. This has been the factual norm since manga and co became a thing.
Plus, it's not like this comic did the same thing as those regression/transmigration comics based on novels that take entirely different artists for the coverart to lure people. This artist DOES use their own artstyle in the illustration. So I really see no need to complain or be upset.
(Maybe OP is just not aware of the detailed cover art but simple comic art norm?)

This is bullshit

Dija March 14, 2024 3:43 pm

Dija March 3, 2024 2:30 am

I'm here because of the cover but wtf it has nothing to do with story, they're different, why are u fooling ppl

Dija February 28, 2024 6:02 pm

I hope Cael don't change and care only about Hestia, coz in the novel it was a different scene in the library, I hope next chapter he ignores that ugly bitch and to not have any feelings left for her

I feel like they're only changing Helios so we don't hate him too much at the end of the webtoon, since in the novel he had a somewhat happy ending that didn't feel deserved by many causes of his actions/feelings toward Hes. In the same way, they're making Diana more annoying in the comic than she was in the novel (honestly, she's a pain wherever but at least she was a little bit less dumb in the novel), probably cause some people still pitied her after she got her bad ending. Cael already cares for Hes more than he does for Diana, it was hinted at a few times. The thing is he just wants to be happy with Hes and doesn't care for revenge so he isn't as against Diana as Hes is. Diana is so "meh" to Cael now he doesn't care what happens to her and just talks to her out of politeness because she's an old friend now royalty who married his old best friend.

    Maju February 28, 2024 11:22 pm

Can you tell me what happened in the novel?
