Ok I’m only on chapter 36 and my feelings might changed in the future based off reading the comments…but I kinda feel bad for Raymond. He’s forcing feelings on himself out of guilt. When his “friend” (Agnes’ brother..I hate her brother so much.) is all like “you should feel bad for how you didn’t like a girl obsessing over and get married to her now.” That then led Raymond to feel kinda guilty and with the fake rumors going around he’s just overlapping the image of his mother. So basically he just seems like he feels bad for Agnes and though he doesn’t like her, he’ll give in and be with her bc he doesn’t want to be like his father. But alas this is a manhwa and there always has to be a form of drama with another person liking the main couple soooo it obvious he’ll become more like his father in the way that his father tried to get in the way of Agnes’ parents wedding Raymond will probably do the same bc that’s just how these things go
Actually ummm spoke to soon! Just read chapter 37. Though I do still believe Raymond is tricking himself into having feelings, he lost pity points when he was down to try in win Agnes’ heart. Especially when he believes she truly is heartbroken over all this and he’s reflecting that he was so shitty but then turns around and goes yeah ima get her back… I STILL HATE THE BROTHER MORE THOUGH! INSTIGATOR!!! HES CONSTANTLY LIKE GET WITH MY SISTER GET WITH MY SISTER!!! HOW ABOUT YOU SHUT TH FUUCCC- UP WHATEVER YOUR NAME IS!!! Anyway yeah
