I am currently studying Japanese, and the best thing that could help you is to say words in Japanese constantly. Try speaking to yourself in Japanese. If you know a common word or phrase, use it. It doesnt matter If ur friends don't understand, only you.
I use "naruhoudo" "hai" "iie" "wakarimasu" "tabesmasuka" "okane" and many more. Then I use them in sentence context so that I don't forget the grammar aspect.

"Hai, docchi ni cake no kouta ga suki desuka?"
    "Cofe ni nomimashyou"
    Etc etc

Also to read hiragana and katakana, I suggest you associate the letters with something ur interested in. I am always happy to write "tachi" and "neko" in hiragana which is only 2 letters, but I know those letters by heart. (●'◡'●)ノ . Reading can also boost ur understanding levels, so start reading Japanese nursery rhymes, poems, and of course anime....with the subs off

1 language at a time. Korean is much easier to learn than Japanese.

I'm learning Mandarin right now. For me, I already spoke Cantonese before so Mandarin wasn't too difficult to pick up. Now that I'm at the harder parts of learning a language, it's definitely harder to remember words and new things I'm learning. For remembering words, first check if you can write them from memory. If you can't, try using those words more often. Of course, it would probably work if you wrote them over and over. With reading, just read more. Look up words and phrases you don't understand. Hopefully Google Translate will translate it properly. For speaking, it would be helpful if you could find someone fluent in Korean/Japanese and talk to them in Korean/Japanese on a regular basis. Have them help fill in words you don't know. At some point, your vocabulary will start expanding even when you don't realize it. Talking to someone will also help your listening ablity. You may learn new words! I hope this helped.

do y'all prefer manhwa/manhua or manga? art style wise

    lolpop8999 July 25, 2018 5:24 am

Manhwa and Manga is better to me :/

    its 4am and i miss u July 25, 2018 5:24 am

doesn't the art style depend on the artist?

    vaisravana July 25, 2018 5:33 am

tbh manhwa has to be drawn/colored really really well to surpass manga in art style for me, esp if it's full-color. manga has a more mature, subtle tone to it that translates really well into abstract scenes. and it's not to say there aren't ugly manga out there, but it's a lot easier for manhwa to look silly/disjointed in regards to the storytelling imo.

    vaisravana July 25, 2018 5:34 am

on the other hand: manhua > manhwa

    Demeter July 25, 2018 6:11 am

Manga because of the less scrolling/everything is just close together
But colored mahwa is v pretty

Actual manwha has a similar format like manga. They are designed to for paperback. On the other hand, the (Chinese and Korean) webtoons /webcomics are the ones needs scrolling down

    takame July 25, 2018 8:04 am

Ofc manga. I've been reading it forever. TBH, Korean comics took time for me to get used to but hwang miri trained me to appreciate the style. As for Chinese, I have been fan of Chinese illustrators in DeviantArt so I'm okay with them.
So: manga > manhuw > manwha
