Like u guys aren't victims move on, Chase ain't a saint - He has no Character development throughout his story, his novel is badly written with 60%+ Smut filled even in side stories just smut Nothin else, He threw a person from an helicopter, he abused all his previous bodyguards literally tortured them not limited to Joshua he met at start, shoots people for small reasons and before u say he changed after he met Joshua he doesn't lmao he is still trash he literally shot a journalist bcse he irritated him in side stories lol.
So stop being victims and this is a story about Grayson and Dane and the story is based on Grayson pov idc if u like him or not, we don't need u guys to come and say here I can't forgive him bcse of Chase bruh nobody cares move on don't be so wimpy and victim mentality bcse it ain't that damn sad.

If ur camping for Grayson suffering or redemption arc lol, ur waiting for Nothin cause Grayson doesn't have a redemption arc. He has the Best character growth (not development) and amazing teaching From dane. So it's wasted even if u wait for it cause ur not getting it.
I was actually happy with no redemption arc honestly, it was such a good read and it's a good dynamic and very unique like the emotions and their feelings are so well explored people are saying ML trauma is not a big deal bruh he is human everyone perceives trauma in different quantities and different ways.
I really like the Novel bcse the ML is relatable in a sense his emotions and feelings feels raw and very much like how a human will feel which is very good and MC might be the most pushover person but he himself is aware of it and knows he is sacrificing everything to be with ML and he is ready it's very unique story and a new breath of fresh air.
I loved every single thing Honestly understanding ML but also u guys should remember something ML is not blackmailing the MC in any way? He himself told MC he will treat him like shit and MC stayed and MC can leave anytime but he doesn't thats what makes it such a fun read for me. Very different and unique story I highly recommend

Chase is not Sane and not a good person either. We see his story from Joshua perspective who has a complete tame cute view of Chase so he seems cute but chase is a nightmare for other people.
- He abused and assaulted all his previous bodyguards for no reason so Ashley always had to pay a huge amount to keep those assault cases in wrap.
- Threw a Man from a Moving Helicopter
- Shoots people with a gun cause they irritated him little bit
- He is extremely rude and a jerk to other people except Joshua
- He has no character development throughout the story, his story was completely focused on smut and we never got any closure or development whatsoever it might trigger some people but it's truth, just him showing his vulnerable side to Joshua doesn't give him a pass to his crimes neither. People tend to ignore it because he done it to side characters not a main character.
- Joshua had no positive influence on chase, rather Joshua was like the person who made him feel safe and supports Chase in either his bad or good behaviour doesn't matter so it's like simply a wasted part the author done here. I am pretty sure she didn't like add much details for the story obviously cause it's very half baked and with no development whatsoever.
I was scared they will start to skip these parts also but they didn't thank God

I am stating some incidents which were there in the last 15 chapters of the Novel LMIYC. I am seeing so many peopl keep mixing up orders of incidents.

People keep saying Koi was only separated from the children after the poisoning incident.
But that's not what the novel shows.
Long before Grayson poisoned Koi, Ashley had already started separating Koi from the children because they interrupted the time he wanted to spend alone with him.
When Chase kept wandering through the mansion, knocking on doors and looking for Koi, Ashley wasn't worried about his child.
He was annoyed that Chase is disturbing his quality time koi.
"Damn it, I should have gone outside."
The novel literally says:
"Whenever Ashley tried to spend time alone with Koi, the other children seemed to know exactly what was happening and constantly interfered."
Ashley then thought:
"I need a way."
His solution wasn't to spend more time with his children.
It was to get rid of the "problem."
He came up with an excuse to send Koi away for an audit that lasted six months, keeping him away from the children because he wanted Koi to himself.
This all happened before the poisoning incident.
So the idea that Koi was first separated from the children because of Grayson poisoning him is simply incorrect.
Then, after the poisoning incident, people reduce everything to, "Grayson got locked up because he deserved it."
Again, that's not what happened.
Ashley slapped a little boy repeatedly, cursed at him, and then—
"He even squeezed the boy's neck, intending to suffocate him immediately."
That isn't discipline.
Ashley always used to separate them that Nathaniel noticed. And the very first time Ashley separated Koi from kids was after that Chase knocking the door nd disturbing their time(fwop fwop) time. They keep their children alone with nannies. After 6 months when Koi returned things changed. Then happened the poison incident which gave Ashley full control over the children and Koi and a proper excuse to fully separate them. I know Ash conditions and reasons as well but the methods he has been using were wrong.
The poisoning was undeniably wrong.
But why is it so difficult for some people to acknowledge something the novel itself repeatedly shows?
Ashley failed as a father.
Koi later admits his own regrets and failures as a parent.
Recognizing their failures doesn't erase Grayson's responsibility.
It simply recognizes that a child raised in harsh punishments, emotional neglect, and a completely distorted understanding of love was failed by the very people who were supposed to protect him.
That's not making excuses.
That's acknowledging what the story itself tells us.
Ashley starts to like Grayson a lot in the future but it didn't move me least bit, Ashley was still trash character like ignores all his children except bliss and loves bliss only because bliss looks like koi. Ashley doesn't deserve shit if u read deflower me if you can it hurts so much that how much shit the other children had to go while Ashley doted on Bliss and protected him.
Ashley is what I call a selective parent with a bad personality.
I can never like Ashley even though I have read his Novel and liked him there but in side stories and stuff makes me hate him sm.
Also Choking a 9yo whatever the reason might have been is crossing a line always
And also Ashley starting to behave like a caring father later in the story because he loves Grayson now just like bliss is just trash ur too late
The Manhwa done a better job than it did in previous chapters yippee and also I never understood what expressions Dane was making during this scene in the Novel but in manhwa I am really happy to see Dane shaken it helps a lot
Putting a small child into a fridge is not fine even if it's a side character I still feel sad for that child. Ml sucks in that part, poor child.
