I read Kiss me if you can novel First, and did hate him that time and I was in mood for some red flag story so I started Desire me if you can and started reading it but unlike people in the comments I gave a chance to Grayson slowly i didn't lockmyself for the hate, I was not like if Grayson breathes I will hate him, i gave him a chance and slowly he grew on me, he is such a beautiful character his slow growth, his story was not just Romance, his story about how he grew as a Human being, he helped Dane to move on from his past, when necessary he worked hard, he realised he might have hurt people when he understood empathy and emotions, He is just such a majestic character everything about him is just peak
He has such a Heart of Gold, I don't want people say he done this to chase? In replies
Please Read Desire me if you can Novel and Lick me up if you can side stories, Grayson character is explained even more deeply.
Grayson was strangled to death by his father when he was a child and trapped in dark basements by him no one talks about it? And Grayson doesn't feel he was abused because of it, He used to think they were punishments but punishments aren't as harsh as strangling a 9yo child.

Let's talk about how many fandoms does Chase fandom has beef with-
- Grayson Fandom: Their most fav Target, anything happens in their fandom they know how to make it about Grayson and his fandom, like we would be minding our business and we will be catching strays
- Ashley Fandom (Lick me up if you can): They be hating on Ashley that he destroyed Chase life and everything at the same time pissed that Ashley gives time for Grayson and Bliss so much and looks after them
- Keith Fandom (Kiss me Liar): I don't even know why they hate Keith but they be pissing of his fandom also
- Bliss Fandom: They hated on him cause he got the Love of the Family, because Koi, Ashley, Grayson, Nathaniel, Larien and Stacy all adore Bliss and look after him so much like he is the most loved character in the family by them, Grayson and Stacy are literally one call away for Bliss always
- Nathaniel Fandom (Run away if you can): They hate him because he ignored Chase and didn't care about chase, the Hypocrisy here the author other work lutere tells that without Grayson Help and looking after Chase, chase would be dead and not survived the funny thing if a character helps them (ik it was the bad way but Grayson really believed he was helping), they hate him too.
They even hate the author and the artist of their own manhwa so yeah it's like why isn't everything about chase?

Like people learn to read and understand Grayson, he is like a child stuck in Adults body and is completely in love. He lacks emotions it is shown from a lot of chapters he always mimics and u expect him to behave normally? Bruh what is wrong with it.
Grayson is the first ML I have seen get this much hate for no reason, if u don't like dumb and Himbo MLs then this is not for u and Grayson is way more than being dumb he is the best complicated character ever written for me.
Also I have not even seen this much hate in Grapist manhwas but Grayson they hate my baby for no reason.

Grayson doesn't care about kids much, Dane will be the first one to start to think about having kids and a family with Grayson. I am sure dane will be the first one to bring out wanting to be pregnant and everything lol

If u can't understand the character why the hell ru reading the story, it's pretty obvious now that Grayson doesn't have the mindset of a Normal person and how perceives and understands is a whole different way. If you cant understand it then don't read it just to hate on Grayson.
Yes u guys can complain novel readers have a different perspective but we novel readers already loved and understood Grayson by this chapter, we were literally sympathizing and loving Grayson to the core, we didn't even need to know his past because he is such endearing and complicated character.
Yes the manhwa might not have showcased his Complicated character well but he is extremely complicated.
He is a slow learner, and he needs help which dane provides

He is multi dimensional and he is just a great character overall, he isn't perfect he is flawed and he tries it fix it with gum but with a mindset of a child.
It's like a small child fixing a broken vase with gum.
That's what makes him such an amazing character.

So try to look at him in different light them u will really enjoy the story. Honestly I just recommend u guys to read the Novel from chapter 1 with a fresh mind

I really love how the Manhwa is completely loyal to the Manhwa, maybe some minor unwanted scenes might be cut down but it's been quite loyal and I really appreciate it.
I feel Novel described their inner monologue, feeling and emotions in a more descriptive and raw way so I really love the Novel for it.

Yes, Choi sungbin is gonna be like this for a while, it hurts a lot too but when he realises he is in love he is gonna be the most miserable person ever.

- Grayson has rut and he can't sleep with other people bcse he loves dane and he is dying bcse of the pheremones overload but also he doesn't force himself on Dane or try to trigger anything near dane, even in the middle of rut he makes sure to keep his reasons and deny dane when Dane tries to help him saying I don't like it, he is that much of a green flag
- Grayson and Dane do SM play and dane induces Grayson in the mood and only makes Grayson suffer bcse of the SM play and stops it in middle even at Grayson knows restraint and doesn't force himself
- Grayson is always respectful about every boundary dane sets except sometimes when Grayson forces dane to tell about his past thats the only time he starts forcing him but once dane scolds him harshly he stops even that.

He is the most sensible person in the whole novel

If dane hadn't taken contraceptives after this we would have had mini Graydane child by now , but I can wait as the author confirmed they will have children and wedding in the 2nd side story she will release and it would be a bigger one.
But honestly that makes it better cause Dane and Grayson don't get together bcse of a child, pheremones or face, they bond on a deeper level emotional and start to understand and love eo so this is one of the best Omegaverse cause it doesn't have any of that cliche tropes

I can understand some people saying it might be not the best start or the relationship or it is not clicking currently because the the story is supposed to be slow burn the novel has 210 chapters, so the progression is slow.
The Novel won the best BL of the Year, last year on Ridi
So u can understand it's a great story.
The progression is about how both characters help each other emotionally and move on together.
They both have one of the best growth, the author done a phenomenal job by including both Comedy and character growth so well in parallel.
I would stand by my previous word the Novel is still better than the manhwa cause manhwa skipped some scenes which made the story more interactive so I recommend the Novel.

They both have insane Chemistry cause how well the puzzle pieces fit for them both are perfect for each other, the novel doesn't have much smut they have like 3 to 4 smut scenes and most other scenes are them having problems or solving it with each other.

I am not spoiling it but that's the thing they have a great growth, comedy, Serious tones and actually multi dimensional characters who have other thoughts and feelings not just stuck on eo.

If you guys haven't read the Novel or don't have clear information then don't spread falsified information and make people believe it cause if that's the case if you want to prove your point from on just give proof which chapter and what they have done and then spread that information if ur not confident about the source then don't cause it basically means ur trying to spread fake news.

Yes, they have flaws but that's what makes the characters so good they are not one dimensional they have major character growth, they understand each other, they have such a beautiful story I just can't get over them ever

Like people behaving Grayson is at fault here? Like how the hell
- Dane and Joshua were the one who kidnapped Grayson
- Grayson escaped like a normal person would and he did escape what's the problem?
- Grayson takes dane to the Villa cause that's the only way they can survive
- And now Grayson is taking revenge by trapping dane in the mansion what's wrong with that it's tit for tat
- Also fyi Grayson never forced himself on Dane, he is very consent proned
