It's more a bittersweet ending. They both reincarnated in different timelines so theyre never going to meet the same version they first fell in love with. Reincarnated Klopp will not meet Arok from his universe but he will keep remembering him.
In this second arc, it’s Aelock’s regression, so it’s only Aelock who went back in time. OG klopp is still alive in the first world, still suffering in a hell without Aelock. So the Klopp of this world doesn’t have a connection from the first world. He dreams of the first life because of an imprint that was established between Og aelock and klopp in vol 1.
But Klopp is still trash in this arc unfortunately. You get an in depth look on him in this arc. He does work on it, but just see it for yourself. I’m not a fan of Klopp in any arc (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
It’s sounds confusing, I got a bit confused too. But if you read the novel, chapter 4 vol 3. After Aelock had his first kid in this second world, he meets Og klopp in a dream, the old klopp of the first world. The withering old man… but this is me reading google translated novel, so I might have missed some stuff.
Klopp’s regression is on the 3rd season.. vol 5 of the novel. He meets an Aelock without the memories, an unbroken, confident and arrogant noble. You’ll get to see him suffer, he gets to be with Aelock again. But it’s not a happy ending for Klopp… because his regression made him realize that he really did destroy og aelock for loving him. That his pride hurt both of them. That he was majority at fault in vol 1, that he was responsible for two deaths (Aelock and Rapiel). It burned him alive… seeing his beautiful Aelock.
Around what chapter in the novel are we currently on? Also, which version should I read? The LN or the WN?
I can't recall, it's around volume 8-10, I think.
You actually might read the LN. The WN is kinda raw and messy, so there's a lot of changes that've been made in LN.
And the manga use the LN version.
Season 2 of the show is in Volune 5 so I'm thinking this is 6 or 7 if that.

If you want good writing, definitely LN. But if you can't handle the suspense, WN is just fine. It may not be as neat as the LN, but Tensura WN will always have a special place in my heart.
