It feels like the author’s ADD is acting up again. You won’t convince me this author doesn’t have ADD. The entire plot-line of this series feels like “stream of consciousness” writing. God only knows where the ending will wind up.

I feel like people don’t grasp how terrified Teach is and that’s why he’s acting so obvious, he’s fearing for not only his own life but the life of the village as well because he’s seen first hand how unhinged Guwon is. He’s not being logical because he’s freaking out from the fear. The begging is proof of that, he’s bargaining for his life. Teach is intelligent and therefore he’s seen that Guwon cannot be reasoned with in any logical way
