everyone keeps saying this is peak romance, or that they’re totally in love. but i think it’s more than that, yk? calling it love or romance feels too simple. it’s this kind of connection that we, as humans, might never really understand. all we can do is yearn for it.
and that yearning? idk, it kinda hurts. and it struck me while reading this masterpiece bc connections like that are so rare. everyone’s too focused on finding their “ideal” partner, or settling down, or just thinking about themselves. it’s like we forgot that deep down, we’re all just craving this. whatever this is.

im not done reading this yet but i just wanted to say.. WHY IS IT ALWAYS THE POWERFUL GUY WHO GETS TO HAVE THE FML?? WHY CANT SIDE CHAR GUYS LIKE PERRAT GET THE GIRL THEY WANT?? IF THE ML ITS ALWAYS EITHER THE ML IS SECRETLY A PRINCE, OR HE'S THE MASTER OF THE MAGIC TOWER, OR A DRAGON, OR WHATEVER STATUS THAT LOOKS IMPORTANT. SO SICK OF THE FML AND THE OP/STRONG ML TROPE. LIKE CAN SOMEONE RECOMMEND A STORY WHERE THE FML IS THE STRONG ONE AND THE ML IS JUST A RANDOM COMMONER SHE MEETS ACROSS THE STREET OR IDK, A NORMAL PALACE GUARD OR SMTH?? WHY CANT OUR HUMBLE GREEN FLAGS EVER GET THE GIRL??? T^T
Okay... now that im past that rant, i also wanted to add that while these stories are good for when readers like to take a break from the psychological, traumatic, but fulfilling ones, i feel sad that the plot for this story had potential but felt rushed. such a waste.
