For the past week, ive been looking through stories under "strong female lead" tags or smth like that. and when i tell you that i have been disappointed more times than i can count, im not kidding. curse the people who gave stories a tag that doesn't even reflect them. now there's only a few stories i can remember that gave justice to this tag and among them is this one.
what i loved about this story is that more than the romance, it focuses on the ambition of women and that yuri doesn't only see the need for change but acts on it as well. she used her memories of her past life not only to benefit her and her friends but the entire empire as well. might even be on par with Dr. Elise (if i remember the title correctly)
i also loved that the author didn't force her to marry just for the sake of an ending that we've all been used to. i mean let the woman do what she wants, after everything she's been through, more than any character in this story, she deserves it.
so, if you're contemplating on finishing this or even reading it for the first time, highly recommend.

the idea that the story was trying to achieve is cute but then the characters are eugh. the way they portray the smol x tall trope by using the age gap is crazy. the uke being overly innocent and the seme taking advantage of that is just borderline grooming

story is great. characters are good. but the forced misunderstanding trope that keeps going on with both ml is starting to get tiring. he's the company president and the new emperor but he suddenly becomes dense/dumb as shit at the most inconvenient time. the ml's overthinking and baseless assumptions is like the thin rope this plot is desperately hanging onto... and im trying my best to hang onto it too lol. hope i get to the good part soon (only in ch64)
