My opinion or what I'm hoping for is that the reason his body rejected that is because, one it's due to Kira's pheromones and then to receive Renji's killer intent pheromones after is why his body rejected that because as we saw he dreamt about Renji and wanted him to breed him so I don't think its a rejection from Renji. I mean we've seen other omegaverses where the scent of an Alpha and then a killer intent scent from the Alpha can be different and dangerous
