i wasn’t prepared for this at all. one of my favorite manhwas finally came to an end, and now i’m just sitting here with this weird empty feeling. it’s crazy how fictional characters can become such a big part of your life. i really wanted to see more of them, their everyday moments, their family, and especially their babies growing up.
i guess that’s the bittersweet part of loving a story so much. you’re grateful it got a beautiful ending, but at the same time, your heart keeps wishing for just one more chapter. it feels like saying goodbye to a place you’ve called home for so long. i’ll miss looking forward to new updates and seeing them again every week. thank you for being one of my favorite stories.
I really love this manhwa. The way they communicate with each other is so refreshing and mature, which made me enjoy it even more. I also ended up loving the second couple so much, nyahaha I just wish they had more screen time because their story felt a bit too short. I would've loved to see more of their relationship and how things developed. Overall, Between Fate and Fortune is definitely one of my favorite manhwas
this manhwa is ABSOLUTELY PEAK for me. i love both of the main characters so much. the ml is incredibly patient with the mc, always trying his best to gently ease the heavy emotions and burdens that the mc is carrying. you can really how sincere he is in the say he comforts, understand, and support him without forcing. their relationship feels soft, sincere, and quietly healing which makes the story deeply moving

i let this manhwa marinate for a year because i couldn’t handle the angst back then. but now that i’ve finally finished it, i can honestly say the story is so painfully beautiful. there wasn’t a single chapter that didn’t make me cry.
the moment i found out that yoonsung already knew the truth — that his “girlfriend” was actually a man — and still choose to stay silent... that destroyed me. he stayed silent because he was afraid of being abandoned. he was willing to wait, until the person he loved was ready to tell the truth themselves.
he was willing to carry that fear alone, to endure the pain quietly, just so the person he loved could come to hin in their own time, in their own way. that kind of love is rare. it’s not loud. it’s not dramatic. it’s patient, gentle, selfless, and deeply human
this manhwa made me cry in a way that feels heavy but comforting at the same time. it’s the kind of story that hurts, heals, and stays with you. they truly deserve each other — and their lov feels real, raw, and earned. reunion isn’t just a BL story, it’s an emotional experience
Yeah, I've read a lot of BL and this is really peak emotionally. My heart was aching the whole time. And then the ending just ughhh. I wish I could experience it over again. I'm happy at the ending but I wish there were more side stories to read. I don't want to move on from them yet. I've already re-read twice. I'm definitely watching out for this artist and author.
Also... the art is immaculate. The story boarding is so cinematic that it plays and moves in my head
I think the last time i felt this way was reading MDZS and realizing how much Lan Wangji silently pined for and loved Wei Ying.

i’ll miss them more than I expected.
