Anytime I saw anyone recommend this manhwa it was because of its wholesomeness. Thats kind of what it was known for, so its surprising they would change the tone of it. Also, Haebom after season 2 would have more confidence in their relationship, running away after spending so much time together seems off.
Saw someone say that Haebom running away feels like something he would do in season 1 back before his character development (before he was braver and comfortable with his relationship with Taesung). Can def see that. Where it left off gave limited options for conflict, but this manhwa's strength has always been its wholesomeness, so the switch to a more dramatic tone is surprising.
Dojoon calling Jaewon a "natural disaster" is a nice callback to ch. 15 where Jaewon says that Dojoon may think he's a natural disaster but that he's there to make Dojoon happy. Looking forward to seeing how their relationship develops now that they're starting to realize their feelings. Hilarious that the bully ended up making a fansite for Dojoon on the side lol.
Taejae and Juhyeok have so much chemistry and their interactions were so sweet here. I know Su-ah's the ml so it wont happen, but really would like to see Taejae and Juhyeok together (even if its some side story). Know that there will probably be a 2nd couple, but man would I have liked to see Taejae with someone buff to continue the whole "you're not my usual type but somehow I'm still into you."
Ngl what did Su-ah think was going to happen? He made Juhyeok dependent, now hes dependent. It's Juhyeok who has to handle the fallout of the entire situation. Hes the one who can't function normally when it comes to his life. All because Su-ah scented him under the guise of protection and then hid it. Not saying Juhyeok is perfect or that he didn't make mistakes, but he has a right to be upset at Su-ah as well.
Theyre both flawed. Su-ah is the reason the situation exists and he did it knowing Juhyeok wouldn't like it. Su-ah isnt an innocent, well-intentioned little bean. We had an entire chapter about how he was taking advantage of both the situation and Juhyeok. Hes getting something out of it too. Not trying to say Juhyeok isnt harsh and the cause of ther initial friendship break.

This being from the same author as Under the Oak Tree (the character arcs sound a bit similar so not surprised) and the spoilers make me think this won't be my cup of tea. At the same time, Spoon could make some changes or take some artistic liberties like they did for the Who Made Me a Princess manhwa. I tend to like their work so I'll wait until there are more chapters.
