Lowkey minus the grapes the story had a good plot if it dragged out and developed really nicely
Have yall ever felt that one unease feeling near that 1 friend... Like when you talk to your friend and they come out of nowwhere, making their own story and yapping and you just feel that 1 awkward pinch that just squeezed your arm very tightly making you uncomfortable? uncomfortable to even speak or to smile.
Omegaverse be running out of ideas istg. They always look the same. And you can easily predict what could happen
Yeah the genre is really oversaturated with works like these, that's why finding gems is even more special like Define the Relationship, Diamond Dust, December, Kiraide Isasete, Omae no Koi wa Ore no Mono, The rogue prince is secretly an Omega, The boundary of fragrance & Turning, just to name a few of my favorites!
(Sorry for the spam, I still enjoy the genre a lot but you really gotta walk through 90% of mid to bad works to find the gems...)
My view is that good stories are being polluted by omegaverse because the authors add them on top of every plot. I enjoy this genre but only when there is a whole world-setting. When they add it to the stories which already have solid plots - it distracts and ruins the story. It is like an unnecessary ingredient. For example I want to know how the characters become attracted to each other through the feelings and storyline, but what I get is “heat-rut so they need to f@ck, so they f@ck”… that is just lazy writing and absence of any imagination. Imho
