i would like to read something of any genre with an art style that includes what most humans have. i find it uncanny reading stuff where everyone is shiny

It's not exactly your description but the fem lead has a father who is the towns carpenter and the fem lead likes the smell of wood instead of liking cranes, the ml also helps out at her dad's workshop if I remember correctly so its semi similar? ( T﹏T )
