The art style change didn’t bother me at first but it’s hard to emotionally connect now. It’s not so colourful and original as before, it’s kinda darker.
But I really hope it gets better. And I don’t like the eyelid under their eyes or whatever you call it. It makes them look tired and uncomfortable, it was much lighter before. They didn’t have that and they had more character.

The way Natsume and Matoba interact grew into an unconfirmed guarded type of friendship and it’s so funny at times.
Matoba definitely saw Tanuma but just “borrowed” Nyanko-sensei for a sec. He also got sentimental about the portrait which is rare.
Tanuma always gets involved and he has a gift of seeing valuable objects, I think. Like seeing the objects that carry some type of history or meaning and power.
It’s an unhealthy obsession + hardcore limerence. I know what I’m talking about.
So far it’s quite realistic and if they become a couple it won’t be. I don’t mind either outcome though. I enjoyed it so far, since I was also a victim of limerence and I feel bad but relate too much in emotional swings. Yeah… this shit is worse than drugs I swear.
