This was really good. I really enjoyed seeing Colton melt slowly for Jinwoo. I know the author said Jinwoo fell for Colton towards the end but I truly believed it happened right at their second meeting without realizing it. My only gripe with this is I think the beginning would’ve benefited from a flashback to establish everything or a small recap. It was confusing to understand how they knew each other and what made Colton act like that from chapter 1.
Besides that, I really recommend this. It was such a nice read.
I’m dead. He really hates that baby. He likes the idea of tying down permanently with the baby but he didn’t think through the rest. I’m sure if the story continued we’d have seen him get more jealous of the attention the baby is getting
The art is so beautiful. The colors so vibrant. But omg the story. I’ve never been more frustrated with a couple before. What’s with the constant miscommunication, the “white” lies, the misunderstanding. They take 1 step forward, then 10 steps back. It’s so frustrating to read. They’re adults but act like they’re 16 in high school. I don’t understand why this is seen as such an amazing story.
the misunderstanding lead up to hilarious moments when everything comes to light, that’s what makes people love this story. and it’s not a miscommunication trope to the point where the seme is completely treated the uke like shit, the semes misunderstandings typically lead him to caring about the uke more and being concerned about him
it can be pretty frustrating and earlier on in the story the seme treated the uke pretty bad cuz of the misunderstandings so it’s not all great
but the absurdness the fact they act like teens the fact they’re so immature together is what makes the story appealing
and they eventually work it out really really well, and the misunderstandings brought them closer together and also provided lots of comedic relief
I don’t disagree with what you’re saying. And I do think you’re right that the misunderstanding creates good comedy. My biggest issue is just I feel that the characters don’t learn from their mistakes/miscommunication. There’s no growth. I dropped it in ch. 66, because I felt like they still acted the same way as they did in ch. 1

i think by the end of the story they really get everything sorted out, they learn to go to eachother when they have worries or concerns, but tbf even in the side stories the top has a hard time telling the uke abt what’s bothering him and takes it out on the uke
they get a good domestic life going tho even tho they still make mistakes but i understand why you’d want to drop it cuz of that
This was so cute. I wish we got more chapters of these two. In my mind I truly believe the dad acted on his own regarding the rape. He probably was paid to make their lives miserable and then went the extreme route.
It’s not even the good kind of psychological “romance”. He waited for them to have their first kiss but was okay with hiring someone else to take the mc’s first time ? A crazy man

This was so mid. How did it even get 8.7 ? It started pretty well then just went it whatever direction, only to give us an ending that’s so wtf. The art is good, but the story, truly trash.
Vol 2 is a different couple. But the couple in vol 1 was so sweet ! They literally shared one braincell, it was so funny.
