So after Jaekyung was practically irredeemably horrible to Dan, he didn't even need to have a chasing arc to win Dan's heart back LMFAO okay. This story had sm potential and the author is amazing at art, but the writing always falls flat.

I don’t know why Koreans like this type of writing. It’s unfulfilling. But it’s what they like, and we as foreigners just have to suck it up or make our own that suits our taste.

hate this story as much as the next guy, but what did you think «going to live in the countryside & nursing him back to health» was? he quite literally chased him

Yeah Dan ran off and was immediately found and absolutely 0 character development happened between the two characters the author made it seem like some big event would happen and Jaekyung would grovel and get major karma for his shitty actions but literally nothing happened by the time Jaekyung realized he truly liked Dan the chasing arc was already over. It was going somewhere for like a second but then it immediately fell flat

I read this immediately on shonen jump but I had to say goodbye to my favorite manga I am not a fan of the ending, but overall, I did enjoy part 2 despite all its flaws. I was trying to see the bigger picture, trusting the ending would be good. I'm not a fan of reset/dream endings or anything involving losses of memories. In this case, it's worse, because everything we saw happen, didn't happen.

Aki's death which was beautifully done, all the character development that took place, the friendships and relationships built over months. They're all strangers now. It leaves my heart heavy thinking about it.
