So after Jaekyung was practically irredeemably horrible to Dan, he didn't even need to have a chasing arc to win Dan's heart back LMFAO okay. This story had sm potential and the author is amazing at art, but the writing always falls flat.
I read this immediately on shonen jump but I had to say goodbye to my favorite manga I am not a fan of the ending, but overall, I did enjoy part 2 despite all its flaws. I was trying to see the bigger picture, trusting the ending would be good. I'm not a fan of reset/dream endings or anything involving losses of memories. In this case, it's worse, because everything we saw happen, didn't happen.
Aki's death which was beautifully done, all the character development that took place, the friendships and relationships built over months. They're all strangers now. It leaves my heart heavy thinking about it.
Yoshida comes back in part 3. Nayuta is actually alive. Power/Blood Devil comes back. Yoru leaves Asa's body, Pochita faked his death. Denji and Asa live happily ever after.
This author is so good at storytelling, and dealing with trauma. I hope to see them creating another story soon!!
