This story is a love triangle and there will be 4 seasons. Last year she stated there would be 3 seasons but now it appears she will need one more season to end the story. That's how long the story is. It will be a long ride. The author said that the 1st season's twists will be sorted out in the 2nd season and she says she won't reveal the endgame this early. I think the ending of 1st season and the beginning of 2nd season with TJ/Ian's reunion only strengthens the possibility of Jo/Ian's endgame. (I might be wrong of course I don't write the story) Ian, Joseph, and TJ are the story's main characters. This manhwa is a character-driven story meaning the story centers on the characters, their internal world, their relationships, and the ultimate transformation they experience by the end of the story. A character-driven story focuses on why the character deals with those things in the way they do and the plot is used to develop the character. At this point, it's too early for you guys to expect Ian to end up with Jo when he hasn't sorted out his past with TJ. He can't move forward without sorting out his past trauma. Because of Jo, he's encouraged to move for the first time in his life but he still requires a lot of time. It's not going to be easy for him to cut off someone who's been a part of his life since he was young. You guys need to understand Ian's, Jo's, and TJ's POV. If Ian stays the same by the end of the story or TJ has an unrealistic redemption arc that heavily contradicts a realistic story like this then this story has NO PURPOSE. If you see Joseph as just a cupid or tool for Ian/TJ's unhealthy bond, I'm sorry but you have misread many signs here. The story starts with Jo, and he's already changed many things. He's the one who encouraged Ian to speak out and resolve when a problem arises. He also asked him never to dodge conflicts by avoiding any situation cause there would be no one left around him. This is what pushes him to go back to TJ. People can scream as loud as they want about Joseph not having any significant role or that he's just a plot device, but without him, there is no progress in the story. Just think about everything that managed to change with his presence.
