Since most you criticized Jo for not having the comparability and chemistry with Ian. Chapter 51 and 52 comes to prove you guys wrong. I've said this before that their development will be a slow burn which will make the story and characters look more realistic. It also shows the dynamic between two couples. Also, both TJ and Jo stans stop accusing the characters as a r@pist. The author already said none of characters are a r@pist.
But who Jaime is referring to here? I remember Doyak said before that the one Jamie hates the most is Ian but he wanted to use Jo and Chris as a bait to get Ian and TJ. That's why it took him years to finally planned something like this against him. He's so evil minded because he knows the weakness of his opponents but Jo is actually the most unpredictable trigger point in this mess. I'm not saying Jo will do something bad. Jo will definitely do something unexpected or even out of his normal character. Jamie doesn't know Jo. The confusing part for me who will be his first target to get Ian and TJ. Because based on his words, he's planning to give false victory by luring TJ out and start his grand plan later. Anyway, I have been manifesting Jamie to meet Jo since last year already. It would be one of the most epic meeting for sure haha. I hope someone will trigger the darkness within Jo that he doesn't want to get consumed by. This is for Jo stans, see I know you guys are 50-50 about this but it's good for him to be in danger or hurt just to make him realize that if he wants to protect the people he loves, he has to disguise his fair nature and let him embrace his darkness within himself. The Wet Sand world is cruel for kind people. In order for them to survive they have to get into the cruelty. Jo turning dark is necessary for his character development because there's more to him than what he has presumed about himself. He's going to get know his real self. Turning dark doesn't mean he is going to be a bad person. We all have good and dark (yin and yang) in ourselves. You need both energy to define your true self. Actually I think Jo is the one who will bring a surprise in this story and I'm excited to see all his sides alongside TJ and Ian. Jo is created to be different from TJ. Meaning they're different but they have similarities. When they face a similar situation they react differently. In the end it's the actions and how it affects others that decide what a person they are.
That response is so Jo of him. Jo sees the good in people so he wants to what is best for Ian even if that means never getting to be with or sacrificing himself so Ian can have that. It shows that's he's very protective of those he loves and cares just like how cares about Chris too. However, Ian thinking being with him will only hurt people and for once he has someone (Jo) to counter these self deprecating thoughts and beliefs of his.
The way Doyak made such unique characters and a complex plot for WET SAND just for the community to become this polarized because of the endgame is sad. You all need to stop shaming Ian for his choices, insulting and downplaying Joseph and villainizing TJ. It's a disservice to them and the story. Based on the comments so far none of you have reading comprehension. Sometimes I wonder if some of you guys have ever read a book or written an essay in your lives.
I think chapter 43 will be uploaded soon.
I'm pleased to see you showing interest in my likings but I will never reveal it to you or or anyone for that matter :D I love all the characters in Wet Sand but I do have a character that I'm fascinated with based on his characteristics and visual. Besides, I also think he will be the endgame. I'll let you know when it happens. Therefore, I hope you still be here.
These are the animals Doyak associated with the characters:
Youngwoo: Fox, Joseph: Stag, Taejoon: Lion
I'm still hung up on this one. The only herbivore is Joseph while Taejoon and Youngwoo are carnivorous showing a huge difference between them.
It's a red stag in precise. You could've have seen its glimpse of connection to him when he paid a visit to his family. This is my take based on his characteristics so far. Remember that I can be wrong so if there's any correction let me know okay.
Strength and Power: They are built to endure and defend themselves. Powerful yet gentle. Note: Doyak, many times created a hype about him being physically stronger in the story.
Spiritual Enlightenment: Because of its awareness and introspection. They are seen as intelligent, wise beings that can provide a person with the opportunity to see things from an uninhibited perspective. Have deep connection to nature as well as maturity, intuition and instinctual wisdom.
Courage and Endurance: Ready to fight with any challenger. Their willingness to battle until death or victory is achieved. Prioritize sustenance, ensuring are always prepared to face life's demands.
Grace: One of the things that sets the stag apart from other alpha animals, is that the stag embodies grace. Non-aggressive unless provoked. Normally peaceful but will not back down if confronted. He reminds you to stand your ground if needed.
Maturity and Experience: Making mistakes, owning up to them, facing fears, and taking risks are all stag's qualities.
Regeneration: Because they shed and then re-grow antlers, which get bigger and stronger each year demonstrates that no matter how broken you feel, there is always the power to heal, evolve, and transform your life. With effort they can progress.
Nobility and Leadership: The stag’s majestic antlers are his crown. His spirit reminds you to be proud of who you are, where you come from, and what you stand for. Willing to go to battle for his herd and will be the first to engage against any threats in this case for Joseph it will be his family.
Virility: Have a strong sex drive. I noticed that Youngwoo unable to keep up with Joseph's strength and energy.
Am I the only one who noticed that the sex scene between Joseph and Ian was skipped in chapter 39? It took place after Jason's funeral meaning it was after TJ's and Ian's sex in the car. We only saw Joseph and Ian having sex two times so I find it weird the third one was skipped. It must have a purpose for it to be skipped.
no it wasn't lol the chapter's events happen after joe's nightmare. joe and ian slept together and that's when joe remembers how ian cancelled on him on christmas, then it shows a flashback of tj telling ian not to come to the funeral, then present day ian goes to the funeral, has sex in the car. the car sex is not a flashback bro how did you come to that conclusion the events so far are in chronological order.
She did miss the chronological order but she made a great point. Their sex scenes were indeed skipped over. That's her point. She was talking about the skipped sex scenes which I myself find strange cause you don't know when or how it actually happened. We don't know why it was skipped considering there's not many intimate scenes between Jo and Ian. As far as we can remember there's only two that we have seen ~
The big revelation is we don't what exactly happened between those two moments. It's actually appreciable that someone pointed out this. The jumping between these chapters is very strange. At first you saw Ian at the hospital then the next moment you saw him with Jo in a bed. That's why the op assume it could have been skipped for a purpose. Everything in this story has a purpose and people are allowed to talk about it yk.

The story has ended, but many readers haven't realized that Joseph is the "endgame." Did people misunderstand the plot, or did they miss how the author chose to write after Chapter 98 and the hints? While it may look like Ian is breaking up with Joseph, they actually aren't. In his monologues, Ian explicitly states that he will return to where he is meant to be once he sorts out the "misfortune" haunting them both.
In Chapter 98, the author notes they lost a "lifetime opportunity," but the first half of Chapter 99 reveals this isn't true, as Ian is shown in Chicago—his true destination with Toby, having a short hair. Chicago is where Joseph is studying. Chapters 99, 100, and the epilogue actually take place in the past. Tjere is a time shift in Chapter 99 signaled by those two sky panels. The author first shows that Ian reached his destination, then backtracks to show what he went through to get there. It can be difficult to grasp, but you really have to analyze Chapter 97 through the epilogue carefully to see the full picture.
I only read few ch but I'm the kind of person who can't move on and is stuck on the past.
I don't know anything that happend between TJ and Ian or Ian and Jo but I kind of liked TJ and I guess I won't read it anymore.
Wtf dont believe that idiot they're just saying anything trying to scare away new tjian readers even they dont believe the shit theyre writing... Read wetsand its so worth it.. ian has always loved tj ALWAYS.. and now theyre endgame and happily married
Jo delulu stans have come here to gaslight ppl. Why would you fall for that lol
