So I tried to let this marinate for a while, but i'm weak :,((
So with the recent chapters I really think the mc is 'the same' as guwon, as in being genetically manipulated or smth. He's also an unreliable narrator and is definitely leaving out some of his shenanigans..
I reckon when it became clear the world is ending some scientists tried to create humans that are capable of surviving by genetically enhancing them and all that crap, thats why guwon is strong and has the stitches etc. The mc is also like that, maybe modified so that he can't easily die? He forgot about it all and is actively trying not to remember, thats why there are bits and pieces hes leaving out. I think he got tired of living like that, thats why he's trying to end himself while sleepwalking, because he's 'back to his old self'
When he had that nightmare about the moon, I think it's supposed to look like guwons eyes, but it's actually a surgical light shining on top of him. When guwon says he loves him because he's the only one in the world who is like him, I think he means it literally.
(Sidepoint: his dad could actually not be his dad, it could just be another researcher pretending so he thinks hes normal, but i don't think that matters much)

So the reason why Doha is so clingy is probably because hes been playing for such a long time and most of the other players have given up already and he doesn't want to be left alone again. So whatever tricks hes doing and him keeping secrets is likely because he doesn't want Bada to give up too. Thats also why hes so happy whenever Bada is obsessed about the game, even when he puts clearing the game before him or the others

Also, do you guys think Doha got all of his memories back with the first tape player or somewhere down the line or that he still hasn't got all of his memories back like Bada?

...and a random thought: if they knew eachother before getting trapped in the game, could Doha be trying all the hairstyles on Bada be him trying to remember what he looked like before :'D

So it might not matter whose tape it is in the cassette player? More like who used it to save the game, because they're located in places relevant for the characters to use near the end of their run. It would make sence for badas cousing to steal and keep hyungshins tape if he plans on using it to save his game later? It could also be just to keep all the others in the dark/out of the loop, but I dont know if he knows enough to do that?
My point is that they might have marked their tapes because they were ALL playing together at some point. Like if you get far enough to find your cassette player
(or A cassette player) you get to save and keep your progress/memories. So they would mark their tapes in a sort of this is MY save way, but since they werent far enough in the game they couldn't find enough cassette players, so someone would always be left out.
So maybe someone got sick of it and decided the best way to keep their memories and progress in the game would be to take out everybody elses tapes and be the only one in the know :DD so basically betray everyone else..
