He's traumatized and lonely. He's been a victim of ridicule and pity for his poor financial situation and it made him act out badly. He was jealous of his ex-gf because she had talent and he was very insecure. He felt unloved and on top of that got sexually assaulted. And then wookyung comes and breaks him down so much he can't see the joy of living. He didn't behave in the best way in the main story but it didn't warrant all the shit done to him. Now all he thinks he has is a an abuser claiming he loves him and that is better than being alone and unloved. I feel so bad for him
STILL it doesn’t give him the right to be a shit human being and I still don’t like him regardless of hearing his backstory cause he had plenty of time to grow and get a better fucking attitude with all the money he has
Yes it doesn't give him any right to be shitty, but it's nice to have explanation for why he behaved the way he did, and from what I can see in real world, having money only makes shitty behavior worse
Besides his behavior wasn't really because he was poor, it was because of lack of parental love, abuse he received and people he meet in his life
I cry everytime I reread this OMG literally one of my favorite relationships of all time
