i saw ppl complaining about the drama in the comments and like.... idk i love it so much if it wasnt for how well build the family plot is i probably wouldn't like this manga as much as this. it makes the characters complex and lived in. a lot of romance manga (especially yaoi manga) has super surface-level characters that dont feel like they have any substance besides the romance... like they only exist for the romance (which i know is the point of a romance story but it makes the characters super boring if you can't relate to them as humans and not just plot devices) yeah this author did a really good job at making the world and characters feel lived in lol
