most yaoi manga that involve any wort of gender-non-conformity/crossdressing always seem transmisogynistic in nature. this one has a bit of that but it's worse because the mc is like a chaser and a sex pest. he's literally so pushy it's uncomfortable and he does rape the other boy in one of these chapters. in typical yaoi fashion it is all forgiven because ofc the bottom always secretly wanted it all along
currently reading! and having fun hehe
this is truly like just a few pages for ppl that loveeed magnet by miku&luka at 12 years old (me). no rating as it is too short/specific

art is awesome, main characters are both funny and charming, but uhh. too much weird shit for me ngl. like the rapist author and the annoying guy trying to get w/ the lesbian. also chapter 11 was weirdly transmisogynistic... idk about this one

before rereading this all i could remember about it was that the captain molested the baseball player in their first meeting. so like. its not that good. which is funny bc nishida tries to make some sort of commentary i think? but it ultimately fails because one of the characters we are supposed to be cheering for is literally a rapist. 1/5

1/5 just kinda misogynistic/slutshamey while also being relativistic about sex work... if rich boy truly cared for smart poor boy he wouldn't pressure him into a relationship build on money. like im sorry money is not consent lmao call me too woke but like ew

2.5/5 its still realeasing! tl is kinda hard to read at times but the conflicts/characters are sort of fun. i like the curse thing and also the humor. but the romance itself was a bit lacking. the art is also a bit subpar.

read this a whilee ago. its a little painful how cringe the mc is. in the sense of how stupid and naive he is. but in a very irritating way. i also think the other ml is kinda robbed of his autonomy and it pisses me off. idk. people say this had plot holes but there really aren't? the story is just not that good. uhh like 2/5

2/5 read it a while ago and remembered thinking it was nice, but after rereading it now its a nothingburger. the romance feels rushed and the characters could be deeper. art is cool and all but it doesnt save this from being one of many generic bl out there. it even comes with its own quasi-sa scene. wow.

2.5/5 i wouldnt even call it a yuri lol more like kind of has a girl that might have a crush on another girl and that's it plus some vaguely feminist themes (very vague). should have dived deeper to be actually interesting. ends up being overall a meh

like a 2/5... i like the characters inner conflict but i think pairing these two up wasn't the best choice... mitsui was abusing sone pretty harshly before, and ofc i know it's his own self hatred being projected, but still, just because he has that turmoil, it shouldn't excuse his actions #imo at least not to the direct victim

3/5 lowkey a yuri.... and actually has a very cute yuri couple in it lol! but i do find myself being intrigued by the possibility of the yaoi part be real. thats where the drama is. ts drags a lot though. not that it isn't entertaining but like lets hurry up its been 118 chapters
