It might just be bc i've reread this so many times but i don't feel like the plot is hard to follow or we don't get the plot (at least not everyone) but rather we feel confused bc the plot is designed to be unpredictable and every ch ends in a cliffhanger. When you piece the information together, it's honestly not about the plot being confusing, but rather we just get whiplashed by the new (incomplete) information we get with each ch. Not to mention there are several intentional holes left bc regardless if it's bada or doha, they're both unreliable narrators for different reasons. Bada had no idea he was an npc not to mention everyone kept fucking with his memories and they keep lying to him, and doha always has ulterior intentions albeit said intentions seem to always be motivated by his obsession and love for bada, and again it's worth remembering he doesn't have his og memories either, everything he's collected was through his own investigation and manipulations. I mean, how much can we actually trust seongchan and what he said? Yeongtaek (? said that the other players of the og gang removed their tapes voluntarily and maybe that's true to some extent as seen with yeongtaek (again only to some degree), but with the new findings from what jaeseob said, it seems they all had a fall off specifically with seongchan and their tapes might not have all been removed by their own hands (given that we work with the assumption that players can have multiple tapes and each were removed/inserted at different times of the game BEFORE the beginning of the story). So no, i PERSONALLY don't think MOST of us don't get the plot, it's more that we get that feeling because we keep getting dropped bombs everytime a new plottwist is revealed and we're working with an unreliable narrator and a shit ton of lies and manipulation. In summary, i don't trust that mf seongchan and i believe he might be the reason why we are all so confused. Im loving the theories tho and some were right but rarely so. The unpredictability of it is design to leave the plot open to many different routes so it's harder to guess what will happen next and that's why so many including me absolutely love this despite feeling lost half of the time (again, it's not that we're all lost, we just can't figure out what will happen next and every new piece of information seems to either contradict something we already know or change the story, everything is built on LIES). This obviously doesn't include the confusion surrouding the mechanics of the gae, that's a whole different thing on itself, i don't get it either :v

Idk chat, I really reallyyyyyy want to trust Doha and what he says about leaving the game together but my gut is telling me something is gonna go so very wrong. Doha, bro, I want to trust u but u make it really hard to trust u and not even in a I think Doha might be hiding something type shit (maybe a little, the man can't be trusted ok) but just in general I think he might have jinxed it just by saying it aloud
