My heart can’t take it now that we’ve finally gotten here. I’m not ready for the switch to flip

In the novel, he regains his memories back! He hides it from her and reverts back to being a sociopath. Basically, he ruins the competition for her, vandalizes her home, mentally, physically, and verbally abuses her, and leaves her while she is begging him to stay even if he hates her. The cherry on top is when the villagers mob assault her (because he killed her tree from the competition) and he just watches.
We shall have to see if the manhwa goes the same direction or take liberties to make the ML reedemable for fans reading the comic.

I really don’t understand why these comments about the characters and plot are so negative! Yes the pacing is a little fast, as the MC always has a solution to the problems she faces. But the characters are slowing building and you can tell there is a lot left in the plot to explore! We haven’t even met the mysterious ex-fiance yet, and the author is still hinting at what is to come. I think the story is overall endearing and has fun modern day solutions. I hope this will continue to update, and people will enjoy how endearing the MC is becoming. Even the stuffy ML is opening up! This is a fun light hearted read for anyone looking to scratch the isekai itch
