Probably a snake, the personality thing comes from the fact that he was tortured into a god. The one we see the most of is like the most original (just super angry and horny) (with the actual original being the shadow one) and
the monster kid one is what happened while he was in the Jar (like the dude was starved and feed humans as part of the god turning?)
And the one with glasses is the godliest one (and the one that the family uses to get their wishes granted)
but even then their not really gods of any kind and are more like a curse hence the snake stuff, because like humans torturing a human to turn them into a curse/god thing never works out well

I don't recall much myself but, on the multipersonalities: It seems that someone wanted a god to grant them wishes etc and a way to do that is to harm/torture someone repeatedly to near death. So they did that to Mugo in the past and he probably split into different personalities because of the trauma. One who accepts sacrifices - the one who is always hungry, Mr know it all and Sir Mugo who identifies as the god. I think there's a hint of a fourth personality somewhere. On the snake bit, I don't remember.
