Yeah, it looks that way. He lost his memory after his fight with Arima (which is understandable, considering he was stabbed in the head twice).
Were you even paying attention when you read it?
um it clearly shows in the manga that its kaneki only he cant remember what he was like before . all he knows is that he doesnt like his past self
