I mean, Aerlok was bad from the beginning. He didn't know how to persuade Klopp, saying bad things at him and his wife... but asking someone to do bad things to a pregnant person was super mean. If it was just to scare him either way their lives are in danger because of the shock Raphael may had just being scared.
***NEVER do bad things to pregnant people, even if it seems silly, is dangerous***.
I understand Klopp on wanting revenge, but not the way he did it. It reminded me of the movie La Piel Que Habito.
It was hard but I liked how it ends, I like that the author didn't end it with them being a happy couple.
You didn’t understand the story if you think Aerlok was bad from the beginning. Aerlok is shown as a typical aristocrat with a very strict upbringing. He’s shown as someone who wasn’t taught how to ask for what he wants or rather he’s shown as someone you can’t express themselves at all. That’s why when he fell in love with Klopp knowing their both Alphas which wasn’t acceptable at the time he didn’t know what to do or how to react. So he behaved like a typical aristocrat. It didn’t help that Klopp that was doing the same thing to Aerlok but on a greater degree. The only reason Klopp was with his omega in the first place was because he reminded him of Aerlok. At least Aerlok admitted to himself what he felt but Klopp never did. He hid it with anger and disgust. There’s also no proof that Klopp’s omega was pregnant with his child and no one else’s because from novels we know that another aristocrat was also interested in him. The main plot of the story is “should the punishment of a crime/mistake be bigger than than the crime/mistake itself”. What Aerlok did wasn’t right at all. Although he never meant or intended the omega to be raped and killed but just scared it doesn’t change the end result that the omega indeed died along with their child in a horrible way. It was Aerlok’s mistake, one he couldn’t be forgiven for or you can also call it Aerlok’s crime but that doesn’t mean what Klopp did to him for years on end was just punishment. Klopp made Aerlok suffer a fate worse than his omega, he made Aerlok suffer a fate you wouldn’t want for even the most heinous of people/criminals. Aerlok’s punishment was much worse than his mistake. He didn’t deserve that. No one does. The real bad of the story was never Aerlok but Klopp.

I did understand, that's why I said that he didn't know how to pursue Klopp (I saw that I wrote persuade instead of pursue). And also why I wrote that I understand the anger of Klopp, but I don't agree with that punishment. Not only because it was too much for Aerlok mistake, but also because is weird to have children with the person responsible for the death of your wife and son. Seems to me he was just fulfilling his desires.
I haven't read the novel so there must be some details that I'm missing.

Also, I said he was bad from the beginning from the eyes of the other people. Obviously we know what is the cause of that behavior, that's why readers will have empathy with Aerlok, but if we see it from Klopp's point of view, he will be bad from the beginning.
