I kinda notice a pattern in alot of manhwa where they had to make sure they cross the message that bottom = no experience and then boom a panel of the top just going to town. Bj Alex, LIAI, Jinx, And now this. Is it some kinda formula theyre following?
it's a trope more than a formula. once you notice it, it's hard to unsee. and this one's execution is much better than those that precede this, because at least the bottom is not that clueless, he's horny af too

i have to recommend Pygmalion lol they're both switches and the premise is funny as fuck but then it's actually really cute. i know a few more cause tbh i always love a submissive/inexperienced top, i think there's some lists here with works like that ^^

The trope applies in this manhwa, but the top here certainly isn't soulless. But anyway, if you want the opposite, DASH comes to mind.

One, it’s insulting to lump this well-executed manhwa in with the likes of BJ Alex and Jinx, which may be popular but are hardly paragons of good writing. Two, calling Kwon Jaeyi “soulless” does a disservice to the complexity of his characterization and the meticulous attention to detail the author has poured into crafting his story. Reducing a character like him to such a simplistic label completely misses the nuance of his writing. The lack of media literacy is genuinely astounding.
You literally said it yourself, it's a trope and im not comparing the likes of this to BJ Alex and what not, im literally just pointing out similarities. Not only that in my past reply I literally predicted a panel correctly because of this trope, it's not a hard thing to guess considering its being done multiple times. And to your second point, I literally read his character and only pointed out what he is in the beginning, you coul also say the say to, Alex, Since were using him as an example. He was "soulless" AT FIRST but gets to blossom later on, Its not the media literacy but im cant sense ur reading comprehension. You cant just tell me theres no "similarities" to the manhwas when I can point out alot, and mind you I never said the writing was bad perse, i said its redundant in a way. Calm ur self. And lastly stop making the manhwa look big as if its writing its the final chapter, let it grow into something big first then lets talk about complexity, im only saying what ive seen so far and ive seen similarities.
