Did we read the same thing orrr..? Also it wasn’t realistic for dan not to suffer when around jaekyung. He tried being detached but was naturally drawn to him despite knowing what he did. That’s how it works, if you feel strongly for someone you’re bound to get hurt one way or another. And jaekyung has suffered a lot, repented, apologized multiple times which still doesn’t make up for the bad shit he did, he was still an asshole. Yet one thing is for sure, he did suffer quite a lot since coming to the realization of what he did to Dan before. It was still egoistic and shitty of him to go find dan in that village after all that stuff, but he’s realized it, so he is suffering in my opinion.

We just saw him cry and apologize and tie a ribbon on it to make it look good. Idk, i mean.. personally, i just liked to see dan happy to be independent on his own salary, eating well, having a healthy sleep schedule.. that was what i wanted to see. I don’t think that dan as a character would’ve ever let jaekyung’s lashing out weigh on him. But that’s also the reason why it weighs on jk even more, because dan doesn’t really complain, so he feels even more like shit. He apologized, and i know for a fact that dan will have the reins in this relationship, because he’s the one who’s calmer and more composed emotionally. I hope we get to see more in the side stories too, eventually, but i’m pretty satisfied.

One, it’s insulting to lump this well-executed manhwa in with the likes of BJ Alex and Jinx, which may be popular but are hardly paragons of good writing. Two, calling Kwon Jaeyi “soulless” does a disservice to the complexity of his characterization and the meticulous attention to detail the author has poured into crafting his story. Reducing a character like him to such a simplistic label completely misses the nuance of his writing. The lack of media literacy is genuinely astounding.
You literally said it yourself, it's a trope and im not comparing the likes of this to BJ Alex and what not, im literally just pointing out similarities. Not only that in my past reply I literally predicted a panel correctly because of this trope, it's not a hard thing to guess considering its being done multiple times. And to your second point, I literally read his character and only pointed out what he is in the beginning, you coul also say the say to, Alex, Since were using him as an example. He was "soulless" AT FIRST but gets to blossom later on, Its not the media literacy but im cant sense ur reading comprehension.
