Good i would recommend it. It doesn't meander around like some manwha. Liked the MC and ML. I appreciate love triangles.
Some people are not happy with the person who won but if you know what ship to board its not so bad! Really a fun story. Perhaps there were some lose ends here and there or some things that could have been better fleshed out but tbh its a super solid read otherwise. Their child is so fucking cute.
My only slight criticism is that i think the MLs arc could have been longer and it would have been a bit more satisfying to see his personality change have more of a basis. But idk tbh it didn't irk me all that much.
Comments are making it sound so much worse? This is a super typical relationship and progression for manwha with the added "step bro" fetish.
Its also has a lovely art style and i like the characters.

Whats with the negative comments this was a wonderful story and a great love triangle. Reminds me a bit of points of three. People who say its toxic are grossly over exaggerating they're all just people with issues, pretty minor issues to boot. They work through the misunderstandings and the ML and MC live a very happy life with a very cute side story. Its sad 2nd ML is more ambiguous but the au side story ends with an ambiguous 3 way ending and a call back to the authors previous work. ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶ I loved this alot. I love love triangles and this was very cute, hot and sweet at the end. ლ(´ڡ`ლ)
Reading the comments you'd think this was like toxic on the level of jinx or painter of the night (i love painter of the night! But this is really a cute fluffy love triangle comparatively!) hell even from points of three is more ""toxic"" than this. This really is more comparable to when pear blossoms bloom which is a pretty fluffy and light read. I recommend for all those looking for a fun read. (づ￣ ³￣)づ

Yeah it makes it difficult to have scope. Like i want to know if something is actually really dark or serious so i know what im getting into so comments that make something light hearted seem more sinister than it is really throws off my ability to gauge and decide if im mentally prepared for the work. I don't want to start a series that is actually quite dark unless im aware first but if im always told that the MLs are toxic and evil even when its just light hearted I'm going to struggle to navigate within my comfort zone. Nothing wrong with works that are genuinely dark but you'd never know what is what from the comments alone sometimes.
I feel the exact same way, is super frustrating. The ability of gen z and gen alpha to understand the importance of the difference between fiction and reality is at an all time low. Apparently, if you like to read it then you want to see it happen in real life too
Is the main story done, or is it still in the thick of it. Ie are the chs now mostly just extras?
Idk why everyone is so negative, as if the fluff BL Manwhas being produced now a days aren't also made from the same formula. This was nice satisfying and hit the spot as these types of Manwha should.
I really got into it as the story progressed and i appreciated that the main couple start off somewhat distant and ger closer it was nice

Finished it! I will say i really enjoyed it. It holds up well after all these years the depth of the characters is more than most manwha. I appreciate it alot. I will say joowon is the best to end up with haesoo however taekyung is the better developed. I actually think the author developed him too well, we should have spent some more time with joowon during the final stretch. I loved it regardless though and i appreciate the ending. It was very hot. Very beautifully drawn and had wonderful characters. I appreciate the ambiguity. Although i long for more concreteness. I think its a waste that everyone is shitting on it for "making the wrong pick"
I hate unhelpful comments that are just moralizing about xyz and dragging down the score instead of telling me if its actually good or not. I want a score that reflects the quality of the material not some people who care about nonsense.
I have many thoughts, the first if which being that i sympathize with the cain people. However i do have to say, i knew from the start that yahwi was end game.
Sure the author said she hadn't choosen yet but she obviously had, i rolled my eyes when i read that because you know the second male lead doesn't stand a chance when he doesn't appear for 1/3 of the story, and sex is withheld from him for most of the story.
Yahwi's backstory, arc and many many sex scenes were a clear indicator, even during season 2 when cain took some space in the story, that Yahwi would be the main lead.
That being said, i understand why people feel cheated, i knew where i should keep my loyalties to enjoy the story ( im not a masochist, i try to figure out the winning side and jump on it! ), yet cains back genuine, funny and honestly his only sex scene with the jooin were quite good. It was even more heart wrenching and impossible to ignore when we find out the backstory behind them being soul mates. The past story for a second i believed maybe cain actually had a chance because wtf that was so emotional. I cried, i couldn't not root for them! But once i wiped away my tears and continued i knew there was still only one choice.
Because ive always knew who was end game I can't resent the author for it, i have just accepted cain as a wonderful experience to jooin and jooin as cains everything. Its tragic. I wouldn't have had such a hard time had they gave him a sillier backstory which i think would have made it easier for me to not feel conflicted when Yahwi was chosen.
However i still liked the ending, yahwi and jooin meeting up again was still so sweet and i enjoyed it. I would say my only gripe is that the story would have better impact if it knew when to end a scene, some scenes especially near the end really drag on, this story would've benefited from being 90 chs instead. However that being said, i dont mind a toxic top, but if you're going to have a toxic top its probably best to have the competing male top be so damn lovable and have the only backstory that made me cry.
I know people think the love triangle is unnecessary and I don't agree, i think its okay to have a love triangle that is essentially a second male lead introduced to keep the first male lead on his feet, which is what cain felt like in the first season, i think the author just made him a little too developed while also losing a little too hard. Either commit to the love triangle whole heartedly where its not obvious who will win it make the second lead window dressing to keep the end game top on his toes.
Anyways with that said i still enjoyed this alot so i have no hard feelings.
They're fun cute and i like both the bottom and top. Ive not gotten to the second couple but even if its better i still like the first so far. :)
Update i finished the main couple and i just really like them actually the side couple I didn't end up having the attention for- i don't like to be split between two couples i like one story to wrap up first so i ended up skipping them, so I'll have to come back to read the second couple.
