They should've stuck with the novel's plot and skipped the car sex, now it feels inconsistent. "There's no way Haewon would ever like me. If I have to give up this one-sided love one day, I might as well enjoy it while it lasts." This feels just right in the novel, but here? How come MC is so sure Haewon will never like him, after showing each other's dicks and all? They have done everything except penetration. It's screaming plotholes, and Haewon, will never initiate or even have sexual intimacies with someone else that he's unsure with, that's scumbag behavior and Haewon is too much of a cutie patootie for that.
