I wish this author could know how their work makes me feel. I wouldn't change a thing about this story, it's perfect the way it is. I'm so happy they were given the opportunity to make a second volume, and I really hope they're able to make a third, fourth, fifth.... As many volumes as they'd be interested in making. I'll be there to read and buy them all
Every atom in my body aches over the fact that there's no physical of this series in english, though. At this point what I'm gonna do is buy the physical jp and then use sticky notes to copy over the en translations into the book. And if the physical en ever comes out, I'll buy it then, too!
At first I thought the second volume would be the typical "love rival is introduced to stir the peace up and add some drama" plotline you typically see, but it was really refreshing that it didn't go that way at all. I really wasn't expecting them to go deeper into Izumi's trauma, and there were so many points that hit close to home. The part where Izumi dismisses his own trauma and doesn't view it as a big deal was so real.
In the end, what Izumi wanted most was to be loved by someone and to be seen for all the hard work that he puts in. It's lovely that Sendo could become someone that Izumi could lean on, and a source of unconditional love and adoration. Their relationship is just so incredibly sweet. I know the story wrapped up nicely, but I selfishly want a third volume. It could just be about their day to day life and I would be so happy.

People are worried this will become straight but I have bought and read 3 volumes in Japanese, these two do NOT get together. Aoi has a crush on his male coworker and Mebuku motivates/cheers him on in pursuing the guy. The whole manga is about the two motivating each other to make positive changes in their lives. Mebuku encourages Aoi to pursue his crush, and Aoi motivates Mebuku to stand up for herself in her toxic workplace by bribing her with stories of his sex life. Mebuku is aro/ace and has no interest in dating or having sex with other people, she merely uses BL (or in this case the content of Aoi's stories) to get off. We never see her masturbate though, it's just implied that it happens off screen. All explicit sexual content of this manga series is about Aoi and his male sex friends or his male coworker that he has a crush on.

It's a mutual crush! Aoi is completely oblivious to that fact though and thinks it's one sided, but they are both crushing on each other. Progress is kind of slow though, because there is a misunderstanding between the two making a romantic relationship difficult.

Oh my god. Their relationship is so bittersweet. I didn't think the memory wiping aspect of their relationship could hurt more, but somehow Olruggio voluntarily pushing the idea MULTIPLE times to Qifrey because he keeps discovering the silverwood just makes my heart ache. It's so selfless and tragic and so beautiful at the same time. They love each other so much oh my god. I feel ill. I hope they get a happy ending
