at least give it one read through bc the drama with the illegal drug is core to the story before skipping to the side couple. the love triangle drags for 2 seasons just be warned and the side couples and the whole what it means to be family is pretty good.

this is gonna be very detailed as a future reference for myself

ch 10 (skippable): first appearance of alejandro (mentioned in passing) and taeseo (just his side profile)
ch 11 (skippable): taeseo is the one who breaks the news to yoonwoo that he’s pregnant
ch 12 (last third of the chapter): yoonwoo asks taeseo what he would do if he were in his shoes and taeseo gives him honest advice (a great convo to figure out taeseo as a person)
ch 13 (before the title page + towards the end): we learn that taeseo came to Korea in search for information of his birth parents + another alejandro pic
ch 14: first meeting between them when taeseo misunderstands alejandro helping yoonwoo as improper contact and throws him into solitary confinement
ch 19: taeseo lets alejandro out of solitary and alejandro advances on taeseo sending him into pain due to the side effects with alpha pheromones and punches alejandro
ch 20: before the title page we have taeseo and his interaction with his coworker + yoonwoo gets drugged and releases omega pheromones and taeseo goes to stop him from being ganged up on by alphas and ends up with his arm broken
ch 21 (semi skippable): alejandro appears in the middle with taeseo’s pic + taeseo worrying over yoonwoo despite also being injured. more importantly is the prosecutor talking about the side effects of the drug “milk”
ch 22: alejandro learns of taeseo’s injury and enacts his own sort of punishment on the perpetrator + scenes of taeseo at the hospital
ch 24-26: taeseo returns to duty and unfortunately doesn’t know alejandro is in a rut. in his rut filled haze they sleep together (it’s very dub con, non con imo) but taeseo is understanding even when it’s revealed that alejandro knotted in her. warden approaches taeseo to get him to basically honeypot mission and find out if he’s the drug lord lol
ch 28 (middle; skippable): taeseo’s chronic symptoms have changed and decides to get it checked out
ch 29-30: taeseo visits alejandro for the first time after their incident and is gifted a wooden bird and they get carried away (he slicks. implied womb forming too god this is good) and alejandro tries to mark him. but since alejandro’s feelings are too earnest, taeseo feels like he has to turn him down and insists he goes clean for them to have a future turns him down
ch 31-32 (skippable): cameos of taeseo doing his job and offering yoonwoo options for his heats
ch 33 (last third): warden follows up on his offer/job for taeseo involving a week of him sleeping in the room next to Alejandro
ch 34 (last third) alejandro ponders over how to be with taeseo + reveals his family industry
ch 36 (last third): taeseo vists a hospital and it’s revealed that he was exposed to “milk” when he was young and it caused permanent side effects (forming omega organs despite being genetically an alpha) and if he continues to be exposed to dominant alpha pheromones he’s likely to fully transition into omega
ch 37-40 (before the title page of 40): taeseo carries out the warden’s mission but instead of sleeping in a room beside alejandro accidentally goes into heat(?) and ends up sleeping with him (knotting included). a week goes by of him monitoring and he finds adorable sides of alejandro
ch 43: last night together and they clearly spend it having sex. taeseo’s rut is delayed and during a hospital visit he finds out he’s pregnant. warden, as a favor, hunts down his biological parent and it’s revealed that taeseo finds out he’s the baby in the news article of a father who used his kid to smuggle drugs
ch 47-(first half of)50: alejandro visits taeseo with flowers while taeseo is planning on returning home bc he doesn’t know what to do with the twins in him. they have their first date and taeseo tries to tell him about the twins but ends up finding out alejandro’s not clean with the family business despite what he said earlier and punches him feeling betrayed. taeseo breaks things off with alejandro but has decided to keep the twins
ch 52 (second half): yoonwoo and taeseo bid each other farewell and yoonwoo speaks about their first meeting and the conversation he sprung on taeseo
ch 54: taeseo quits the prison guard job to return home and learns about alejandro from others (rumors). his coworker is retiring and takes him outside for a conversation that enlightens taeseo to his own feelings
ch 65-71: alejandro “accidentally” meets taeseo again and sees the twins. after some misunderstandings are untangled, alejandro courts taeseo and eventually they get married with the entire family’s blessing

bc this is too mixed in with the main couple and i need a quick reference page. but yeah this is one of those u can’t skip the main couple bc it builds context and character for their future growth
- ch 39: first appearance of woojin that brings turbulence to main couple
- ch 40: joohyuk picks up on the bad vibes from afar while eunoh grows jealous and woojin figures out what’s going on
- ch 41: roof top party + joohyuk’s first meeting with woojin (first half)
- ch 42: only second half where woojin asks about joohyuk
- ch 43-45: formal introduction + first time
- ch 46-48: aftermath of their first time up to first half of 48
- ch 52-55: joohyuk’s first time taking it up the ass
- ch 60-66: joohyuk tries to prove to himself that 1) he doesn’t like it up the ass 2) he doesn’t need woojin and fails both. then has a second time with woojin lol (65 and 66 have parts of the new arc with the main couple mixed in)
- last third of ch 72-77: a drunken confession (and the wrong man) makes joohyuk realize what he truly wants and they finally semi get together

came here for the sad tragedy of being in an unrequited love and a side character of someone else’s love story but whew what a roller coaster. s2 being a parallel of s1. the newest chapter dropping a new bomb. is the side stories are depictions of the future and not au that means it’s just freak4freak (with tame vanilla sex). read this in a single sitting and all I can do is laugh man idk hope jun can get his revenge somehow or at least be on top of this fucked up relationship

love a buff bottom and a pretty top even better when it’s a sports himbo bottom (virgin puppy top is not a necessity but a nice addition). personally i love how the omegaverse aspect was introduced later in the first chapter bc it’s more part of the world building than the crux of the story (the core here is two lonely individuals learning to love when they have never received proper love from others). altho the chapters are inconsistent in lightsaber or uncensored so the jump scare of seeing sejin chew on a white blob was wjsmdndjskskdm (I’d take a poorly drawn dick any day)

mourning the loss of tapas, mourning the loss of
chada’s uncensored art… who knows if we’ll ever get an official s2 if kakao keeps behaving like this
also in taiwan (usually the land of the free and uncensored art) this series was picked up by line webtoon instead of bomtoon tw so… it’ll be a fucking light saber like always

kinda crazy seeing them draw my favorite a3 otp to now publishing their own manga and yet their tastes have never changed (omi supremacy am I right) BLESS THE SCANLATORS FOR THIS ONE MWAH

A BLESSING I HOPE THE SCANLATOR ALWAYS PULLS WHAT THEY WANT. BUT FUCKKKKKKKKKKKKKK i was wondering where the new prints for the cafe are from but to see it is so nice also the whole arc im glad it wasn’t one chapter per week bc i would cry. the homophobic parent and poor jintae who decided against his own happiness to secure his mothers like he’s truly lived his entire life miserable just to make her happy broke me (but man I get that need to please ur Asian parent) im so glad dawunnis relentless and has no chill bc that’s exactly what jintae needs

so glad i waited for the official translation bc what the author intended and the heavier themes dealing with life and death deserved to be understood. rarely do u read a masterpiece so poignant and breathtaking with an author who gives so much care to the theme like even in their afterword i teared up over what they had to say and it brought so much comfort. i hope this series continues for a long long time or the author is able to tell their story in full as they would like bc god is this so good and deserving of multiple rereads just to analyze the revelation at the end ; w ;
