My favourite thing in this story is seong-rok and je-oh’s dependence on each other. They both come from backgrounds where they had to face their fair share of hardships but were able to become each other’s breath of fresh air. which makes me think…ms. jeon also fit into that category of unfortunate circumstanced background but she moved entirely differently. to get to the top, she used people as pawns instead of equals or allies and that ultimately lead to her demise…but why? why did she never think to work as a team with the unfortunate people she came across, similar to how seongrok and jeoh are a team? part of me thinks it’s her desire to finally be in control and to not be swayed by “unnecessary emotions” but it bugs me that I’ll probably never fully know the answer unless there’s side stories. Someone that also took my notice was kang hyeonwoo. I really wanted to prove all those corrupt cops wrong but at the same time I wanted seongrok and jeoh to be free fr so I have mixed feelings about him. about the side couple with sieon and hangyeol Im kinda iffy about them. hangyeol is so forgiving apology is nowhere near sieon’s mind so I wished he let sieon at least sweat, no matter what childhood even made him this way. so hopefully we’ll see a bunch of my questions answered in the side stories. I most definitely recommend reading this and all of author evy’s other work as she’s such a good writer and artist!!!

Honestly, there’s nothing special about this story, which kinda made it boring at times ngl. It’s mostly about how the uke is scared to express his feelings to the seme because the uke raised the seme since he was little and still sees him like a kid along with a gangster side plot. Hae-on was my favourite part of this story because his love for juhyeok never wavers despite getting rejected constantly and plus he’s a cutie patootie. I hope the side story contains more of juhyeok’s backstory and the side couple!!
this used to be my FAV bl ever…until I got bored. I was waiting for some drama, climax, ANYTHING but it never happened. I’m someone who likes reading stories where there’s a rising action, climax, falling action, all the good stuff that makes a story..a story but this just shows them living their happy lives in the country side where it’s all rainbows and sunshine. which is cute, but I needed more. I really like how this amnesia trope was conveyed. It showed how the uke suffered from inferiority complex and also wanting to constantly prove himself to people, so much so, that he never allowed himself to be vulnerable. however, when he lost his memories, all the reasons he had to be so tough 24/7 vanished and he was able to relax for a year. tbh, I hated how his og self treated yeonseo, but again, he had his reasons so it was nice to see them be lovey dovey for a while. The transition from him gaining his old memories back and then excepting his new self was too abrupt. I know he had conversations between his different selves in his mind, but I wish it was a more gradual process. Overall, I really loved this read. I think the author did a really good job of trying to make this a full fledged story. I’m really hoping for side stories and more work from this author and artist. especially the artist because the final evolution of the art of in this story is gorgeous.

I should probably reread before I make a review but this has been my favourite story since the beginning. First of all, I love the colouring of the story, it felt very calming and heartwarming. I love how woowon and seoan are each other’s safe space and even with seoan’s harsh delivery and woowon’s self sabotage you can tell it’s all because they love the other person so so much. I find it interesting how that at the beginning of the story, woowon was the one helping seoan with his panic attacks, but by the end, seoan was the one helping woowon recover mentally from his father’s death proving that they both bare equal importance to each other. This will forever be my comfort bl and I’ll miss them dearly. now, i’m patiently waiting for side stories and author upi’s next work!!
This story was a pleasant surprise. Up until chapter 3, I was confused on what the uke was thinking and how this was going to end but the plot twist was perfection. After reading so many tragic stories I’m happy that the uke is essentially eliminating people who think they’re entitled people just because of their own feelings or their own fcked up mentality. I really hope the uke lives out the rest of his life happily with the boss protecting him. I definitely recommend reading this though I know some people just say it’s rpe blah blah blah but the story is more nuanced than that, and you should at least dive deeper before giving unnecessary judgement.

This story is mostly about a tsunere alpha slowly breaking down his barriers to allow himself to slowly fall in love with someone. The omega was so patient that it made me realize I don’t like tsunere characters that much anymore. The constant rudeness and wishy washy behaviour seems annoying to deal with. the alpha even remained like that after they started dating but I guess that shows how much the omega really loves this guy, despite his feelings getting constantly hurt. However, I still really enjoyed this story because I really wanted more. When reading, I got a tingling feeling in my stomach which I haven’t gotten in a long time after reading bl for years and I missed it a lot. I was happy that they did it after graduation but I was lowkey hoping for a surprise pregnancy just for some added spice. Overall, I will definitely read again some day!
The last chapter is interesting but weird because even though I know Karel reincarnated, he basically fell in love with his great grandfather when he watched the tape . But anyway, I wished they elaborated more on the reincarnated Sasya too because I wanted to know how if his beginning was different just like Karel’s and if their different beginnings meant that their love story was easier this time. I’ve been procrastinating this story for years because of the angst and I’m honestly glad I did because I could not read this weekly whatsoever. If I. could sum up the story simply it’s about how their relationship is toxic due to lack of communication because of wanting to spare the other’s feelings, which leads to multiple problems. even when I finished the story, I don’t think Karel ever shared why he did, what he did to Sasya but you could argue he’s better without those explanations. Although, even after they found their way back to each other the relationship still remained a little toxic. The angst didn’t bother me that much as I found myself enjoying the effort they were putting in, mostly Sasya, to want to be together and how their love never wavered even during the darkest times, which I found comfort in. I will definitely recommend this story to everyone who I think has the ability to read this beautifully complex story.

When I read this for the first time and I was so blinded by my hatred for taejoo but reading it for the second time made me understand him better. although, I would never not have a sliver of hatred for him. I understand that grieving someone that you’ve known for 31 years is a lot but I never understood why he treated yoon the way that he did when they reunited. he was supposed to welcome yoon with open arms and make the transition into life easier but he didn’t care and I would never understand that. However, this made me realize that loving someone isn’t enough. I know Taejoo loved Yoon but he kept holding him back from achieving his dreams and you shouldn’t sacrifice your dreams for anyone. So, I think Taejoo moving on was the right thing because without his mind being consumed by Yoon and if he’s alive or not he would be able to take a weight off his shoulders and no longer be constantly depressed, that’s why I like Kwon. Kwon understands Yoon in a way Taejoo never would so therefore Yoon could be himself free of inhibitions. Overall, I really enjoyed this story and I hope the author writes another one.

Not only the art, but the pacing of this story is beautiful. The way it transitions between past and present while keeping somethings a mystery really builds the suspense, making you eager to keep reading, despite there being depressing moments. the mc keeps a lot of secrets from the ml but you’ll never find yourself being frustrated with him as it’s all in rational judgement. I wish there were side stories because I want to see them happy after all those hardships. I really wish to see more of the author’s work adapted into manhwas because their writing is so beautiful.
