Can someone explain the plot from start to where we are now because I’m lowkey lost. like how does lord khallak come into all of this
Idk if I can explain it well, cuz I'm slightly confused as well with all of the names and all, but from what I understand, Sylhan (MC) is royalty, he had big plans to make the lives of the citizens better, but some ppl opposed him and plotted to make him go crazy, which is why he lost his memories and takes medicine to keep it in check. Gorjd I belive is the lord of Khallak(ML) is his lover, and is doing his best to get back everything that was stripped away from Sylhan. Glenberd is a loyal family to the crown I think, Sylhan' aunt which is currently ruling the country. Lister (Glenderd's Lord) is obssessed with Sylhan and he has a twisted love for him which is why he torments him so much and wants to own him. Right now, Sylhan was abt to be forcfully married to Lister, but he escaped and begun to doubt what truly is going on, what is the cause of his madeness, which is poison that caused memory lost and epileptic episodes, even started to doubt if Gorjd had a part in it, poisoning him, which he did not, and he just discovered what truly happened around the time his madness stared and was turned into a slave, included the fact that Gorjd lost his arm and the fact that Sylhan is the reason he lost it, just to protect him.
They also made Sylhan believe he killed his dad and that is why his aunt, the current ruler hates him, and which, from what I'm understanding, he did not kill his dad or cause his mother to die, in fact, they were both murdered.
The story is getting interest because the Sylhan is slowly changing, and becoming smarter and rememebering his past little by little. I am really enjoying the characters development, especially Sylhan. I hope I wasn't rambling to luch and that you will get the gist of what is going on. Sorry if you don’t, I tried.
I’m rereading for season 2 and I don’t completely understand why uno is spying on stefano
Adrian/Uno is aiming to sell attested information about Enzo’s Umbra Project to a reliable “purchaser” (someone with an underground background who’ll potentially end the career/family empire of Enzo's once gaining evidence of his nefarious scheme). Doing so, I believe another reason he's partaking in Enzo’s schemes is that he wants his agency to make a comeback after Enzo's plummet, thus he’ll return to them after selling out the scheme.
I’m lowkey having a hard time understanding when young says that’s the difference between you and me in ch 18. I’m thinking it means, jiho thinks everyone has it all figured out but young can tell it’s just a facade. idkkkkkk i’m just trying to make sense of it.
I think Jiho is talking about the feeling of loneliness and isolation. The fact that he actually mever felt that sense of equality at the orchestra but pretended to do so in order to seem "normal" and like he connected to those around him just so Young wouldn't worry about him, it's that feeling that he's acting to blend in that makes him feel lonely. So I think the "biggest difference" is Jiho talking about the loneliness and emptiness that he can't get rid of no matter how hard he tries. I think it's that same feeling of when u know how ur supposed to think and that in reality ppl arent judging u or the crisis isnt actually as big as it seems and knowing twchnically how u should approach something, but not being physically capable of forcing ur mind to actually do that. That was my experience before i found meds that helped me actually put the tools from therapy into practice, and i think that's what jiho's going thru here. Just not feeling how he thinks hes supposed to and then spiraling because he hates that he's like this and it makes him feel even more alone. Basically "ive got major depression and u dont" is the oversimplified difference (from my understanding)
When Woomin was protecting Surim he said something along the lines of this is the least he could do for his brother, Wookyeong, because nothing he does would every repay what his brother has done for him or something like that. Does anyone know what he was talking about because I don’t think it was ever mentioned again
I know people are just gonna read this just to hate on the artstyle which is so frustrating because it’s literally just a style. If you check the artist’s twitter she does other illustrations in a different style where is more conventional acceptable. Reason being is because the novel it’s very creepy, unsettling, and unnerving and I think they conveyed that well. Even if that weren’t the case I think it’s good to have an artstyle that isn’t appealing to everyone all the time

The last chapter is interesting but weird because even though I know Karel reincarnated, he basically fell in love with his great grandfather when he watched the tape . But anyway, I wished they elaborated more on the reincarnated Sasya too because I wanted to know how if his beginning was different just like Karel’s and if their different beginnings meant that their love story was easier this time. I know it may seemed implied but I always prefer concrete endings rather than open ones
