A masterpiece really. I can’t remember a story that made me feel this way. It hurts and it hurts so good. I realized that love is not always shouted, it is reflected in silent whispers of waiting and longing and in prayers. Love forgives and heals. Though the wounds truly never fades, you learn to live with it, acknowledge it, and grow with it. Love is not a burning flame that swallows everything within its path but a steady ember that flickers but stays even with a harsh blow of wind. And love is a kind reminder that life is worth living for.
This story is so painful in a beautiful way I wish I could read this for the first time again
Spoiler
The book that foretells the future was created by that little girl in the orphanage who calls Bianca princess. In the future, she got adopted by Bianca and Richardo who got married but estranged. The little girl grew up, became a mage and created the book. She sent the book back in the past to Bianca because in the present time her marriage with Richardo is falling apart and there is an impending divorce. The little girl wishes to help her mom (Bianca) but the book never tells the future, it only serves as a guide for Bianca’s decisions.
Lol even with the book, Bianca is still dumb asf
This smells like a sad ending. She's either gonna kill Meriem and go back to the demon world or kill someone else and go back to the demon world. Whether Meriem gets killed by her or not, there's just no way they would end up together in the end unless she gives up her life as a demon and fully embraced being a mortal and grow old with the man she loves.
If I am Bianca I will put this annoying bitch into her place like I showed her kindness and even befriended her because she's a fvcking loner and her reason for hating me is because I killed her mother because I'm jealous of her and I'm afraid she could make Richardo fall for her. Hell yeah she's a nobody and with my status in high society who would believe her.
I don't really understand how she turned everyone around Bianca into believing her overnight with a lack of evidence. Author-nim I don't think that's how it works. This is so stupid.
This could turn into gl hahaha. The further I go into the story, the more I am convinced that Bellieta is deeply in love with the fl. Her love turned into obsession that she's willing to destroy everything the fl has so she will be the only one left in her life. I honestly don't mind her destroying the fl's life nor do I feel hatred toward her. I just hope that she can be honest with her feelings and just say it directly but I just know that the fl is straight so I smell rejection hahahahaha and that must be why Bellieta is scared to admit anything.
Spoiler:
They didn't follow the original story. In the novel there is so much more groveling and making the ml pathetic. I was really hoping this would be the case but alas the artist might be rushing the story now. All those times marinating was for naught.
Spoiler
The ml found her. He gave her, her family's honor back. On the day of the ceremony, the fl was very cold to him but very affectionate to his brother which made him extremely hurt. He visited her mansion but the fl chase him away saying he didn't notify her of his arrival and he was very upset but cannot do anything about it. There were a few more scenes of this where the ml was pushed away. He even told the fl that he's willing to be her obedient dog. I don't remember how they eventually get together but the ml suffered a lot before that.

I think this is the point where the king will announce that he will remarry and take Ariadne as his wife. Truly a sick a**hole
Cheat again, yes. He will throw a birthday party for Ariadne and since Isabella was so jealous, she snuck into Ariadne's room and found Alfonso's love letters. She then shows them to Cesare and he's so sad he starts to drink until he's drunk and Isabella sleeps with him. But after that he starts to ignore Isabella again so during Ariadne's party, she tries to seduce him again on a balcony, her friend Leticia luring people in to watch so that it creates a scandal and Cesare would be forced to marry her to protect her virtue. But her plan backfires since Cesare refuses to marry her, even though Ariadne has broken their engagement because of adultery, and her father is so furious that he sends Isabella to a covent.
Also, I felt like none of the princes are on the level of our Ari!! She is such a strong matriarch type character that the princes' roles fade in front of her.
Somewhat felt that the white hair Raphael suits her, since he is emotionally and mentally a huge support to our gal Ari! He could provide her a calm N nurturing relationship. He didn't want to be an heir to his own family so I believe he could marry Ari and support her to become head of her family (cuz that head position is what she truly desires since the beginning!)
But idk, the spoilers say Alfonso is the ML- so I hope he returns as a strong enough character to equal our Ari's charisma.

Rosetta is not mean. I agree she could have used a softer tone on Maxi but she meant what she said. Her circumstances are not any better that's why she perfected herself knowing she would also be abused if she acted weak. She wished Maxi never returned to their home because she knows that her sister only suffer in that place. She cares for Maxi in her own ways and she loves Maxi.
Love doesn't include beating you when you're down. If you think what Rosetta is doing to Maxi is love, then I'm sorry but it isn't. Love is supporting the other, love is unconditional, love is wanting what is best for the other person. Rosetta's cruel words aren't love - it's more like she's angry at Maxi for screwing up her chance at freedom and is lashing out at her. This is just verbal abuse.
This is especially true after reading into the later chapters, when both sisters meet again. Rosetta starts off speaking to Maxi almost as an equal until Maxi tells her something she doesn't like. Then, her attitude does a complete 180, and she disregards Maxi as a coward again.
Literally reading the novel had me shook.. ugh i hate her but i get that they're traumatized and they coped differently. still, she was still more privileged than maxi. i do not intend to downplay her trauma but her habit of talking down on maxi is irritating the f*ck out of me. she watched everything maxi went through, she must've unconsciously been thinking she's far superior and more self aware, smarter than maxi is. she's just like her father in a way. that's sad.
Exactly! She could've grown up being a supportive sister to Maxi. They could've been able to rely on each other. And instead, Rosetta just adds to Maxi's misery. Being traumatized doesn't excuse your own acts of cruelty. They'd all (Rosetta, Maxi, and Riftan) would benefit so much from therapy, tbh.
That's true.. i understand not being able to associate with her but to look down upon her with cold eyes untill after she finally had her own life is just crappy
Well, I never said that what she's doing to Maxi is an act of love. I only said that she loves and cares for Maxi. We are forgetting the fact that they are broken and did not grow up receiving proper love so Rosetta doesn't know how to properly show her love. No. I'm not arguing but if you read the recent chapter you'll get what I mean.
