So let’s be clear, it’s one thing to write a fictional story that has a toxic male lead and the mc still falls in love with him that doesn’t represent any accurate reality, it’s an ENTIRELY different thing to create a fictional story based on a historical period of time where thousands of people were stolen from their countries and treated like aliens for centuries.
