Ik inseo has apparently always been/felt this way towards yi-hyeok; overprotective, obsessive, codependent, and needy but despite yi-hyeok saying he will “accept all of him” and kind of signing himself up for this, the more the story goes on, the more it seems like he didn’t rlly expect it to be this much of a problem and neither did we. Inseo is getting more manipulative by the second and yi-hyeok is just letting it slide bc of the fact that he said he would accept all of inseo and he doesn’t have to hide his feelings anymore but inseo is constantly holding it over his head so yi-hyeok has no other choice but to comply if he doesn’t want inseo’s waterworks to cause a scene again. It’s just so unhealthy and genuinely annoying having to witness bc god knows if this happened in real life, we would all be RUNNING FOR THE HILLS. Then again, I keep coming back to it so I lowk signed myself up for this lol
Idk how but I’ve come to realize that most of the pairings in this webtoon all have some underlying or very obvious issues and with these few new chapters, it’s another case of doomed toxic yaoi. Don’t get me wrong, I dabble in a little bit of everything but thank god ts ain’t real bc if a mf acted like that irl, I would be so pissed off. Being codependent on ur partner it’s already unhealthy in itself but the fact that hyeok is just letting it happen is beyond me. I guess I brought this upon myself so can’t rlly complain when I’m already this far
