I did some digging and Wan’s dreams of living a happy life are completely shattered at the end. He never gets to go to college because of the mls interference, he is baby trapped by him, and forced to get married to the ml. Which is the final straw that causes him to lose all freedom. His disobedience we see currently will slowly being chipped away until there is none left by the end of the story. In the end, wan obviously never comes to love the ml and the ml treats him more like a prized possession rather than an actual lover. Their child is raised exactly like the ml was, meaning without love, most likely turning into a mini ml. Overall, terrible ending for a terrible story in my opinion. Thank gosh I didn’t exert much effort and time into reading this story, some parts were so unbearably depressing to read that I lost my patience and decided to figure out if the mc would ever get payback or at least be free. But nope. Just a predictible, sad, ending.

I remember dropping this manwha but I forgot why I did. From what I remember, the art style was really good and the main characters are very handsome. But now I remember. Oh my gosh, I don’t even know how to describe what I just read. Overall, the plot is weak, even though I really like the main character, and I wish the best for him and his future boyfriend, I can’t stand how the whole story is purely driven on his not very smart choices. Don’t give me wrong. I still completely blame the main lead for being very, very possessive and ridiculous in a ton of moments. In fact, this post was made just to highlight how crazy it is that he is manipulating the main character and being kind of toxic in a less evil way. I don’t know if that makes sense but if you think about it he is similar to the professor when it comes to his possessiveness driving all of his other emotions and actions. Like I realized that blaming the main character for being a bit unaware doesn’t change the underlying concern, the main lead literally manipulated and lied to the main character in like the first few chapters by saying that his sister likes to peg men just so he could have sex with him. I know it doesn’t sound very deep but like that’s not normal I would say, I feel like they tried to redeem him when they mentioned that he doesn’t want to see him unhappy, but I don’t think that matters since what he’s doing is still extremely messed up. I know a lot of us have probably read other toxic tropes and maybe some have forgotten that this is also considered toxic. Even if we were to forget about what happened in that moment there were other situations later in the following chapters that show how unrelentingly possessive the main lead is. I saw a few comments saying that the main character is very gullible and proclaiming that it is his fault for letting the main lead go this far. I also saw some other comments saying that the professor’s pretty privilege is the only reason fans are not angry at his actions, etc. But this also applies to the main lead, for example, when he wants to possess and own the main character so badly that he tries to turn him into an Omega. While in that world that may be better than being a beta because of status, not only was his reason selfish, but it would’ve caused the main character more harm than good, which he even talks about himself when he says he is jealous at times at people who turned, but then remembers how much omega’s have to go through such as pheromones, heat cycles. On top of all of that the main lead doesn’t even want to disclose what he did to the main character with the honey trap. While I understand that he doesn’t want him to hate him, it is no excuse, he caused so much pain and hardship for the main character just to let himself off the hook? Even though we don’t even know whether he will or won’t disclose it yet, I thought it was important to let that out there because it is actually crazy that he is upset at someone like the professor when he is similar in his possessiveness but just less worse. I don’t hate the main lead, even though I have a lot to say about him. I just feel like his manipulative possessives was such a bad addition to his character. I haven’t seen anyone talk about this so I was just wanting to bring it up.

Yes. In my opinion, they’re kind of being selfish and extremely prideful, which is just annoying. OK, I will be honest here I know Guwon is also a murder, but in situations like this where there’s a literal zombie apocalypse, would you rather people are in fear of the leader in the town they live in with no harm done to most of them or a more than half of them dying and having to suffer outside the walls of the town to bring back supplies? They said it themselves. It’s really just their pride that makes them want to kill the sole person who would be able to keep everyone in the town alive. They are fully okay with people dying just because they are tired of Guwon bossing them around. I don’t know maybe it’s just the way they worded it but from a standpoint view it seems very ridiculous to kill the only person that could keep all of them alive, including the main character. But obviously there’s more to it at the end of the day. I know the main lead is terrorizing the towns people with the fear of being killed by him however, all of them will and would’ve die much faster if it wasn’t for him; even though he is not a good person whatsoever. I’m not saying in any way that he should be alive because he isn’t a bad person but because realistically for the town he is the only reason they are alive and will continue to live. By killing him, all the people in the town are at a huge risk, including the children. They are just making more people suffer by jeopardizing their safety, knowing full well that people and a lot of them at that will die, all for them to be “free” from the “tyranny” of Guwon. Even if the main lead dies, it won’t change the fact that they aren’t ever going to live peacefully.

I’m really tired of this plot where the toxic love is just the main lead trapping the main character and keeping them locked up from the outside. I can usually handle toxic love even though I don’t like it, but I really can’t with this trope. It’s so annoying and it just makes me dislike the main lead which leaves the plot equally as boring as it is stupid. I wish we could go back to toxic love being less about abusing the main character verbally and stuff like that. I know it sounds ridiculous as the tag is toxic love at the end of the day, but there’s so many other ways to show toxicity such as manipulation or other things without fully being evil towards the main character, not even trying to hide it. I just hate this trope it’s very repetitive and sickening

The main character is actually really cool even if she’s a bit awkward and randomly panics sometimes I like that they made her strong and smart, even if people don’t give as much credit for her smart side rather than her fighting side, it was a good touch. The fact that her man is smart, but not very good at fighting makes me happy ngl because they usually give the men all the talents and leave the woman with none of them it was also a good touch that he’s smart because he was trained to be like that his whole life, because if he came out the womb that smart then that would’ve pissed me off. Idk I’m kind of obsessed with the fact that the main character is more talented even though she wasn’t given as much training as him most likely. It sounds messed up but its because I hate that trope where the man will always be more talented and cooler than the main character just because of his gender so it makes me happy to see that the woman is better for once?? I don’t know how to word it

I lowkey like that they chose to not only glaze the ml but also gave credit to the mc for her beautiful looks.
