Oh! I just read the novel of this. It’s a cute story, and I’m happy to say there are absolutely no issues with the smut. ML is as green as they come. Tbh I didn’t think either of them had a ton of personality (Garam especially) but I think seeing it illustrated will help with that.

Especially after seeing the history with that shitty ex-friend, I really can't see how Jihan would forgive Yoochae/jeong for lying to him so persistently for so long. It would be really out of character from what we've seen, even if it's not for some malicious reason. Actually, if it's just a stupid lie for the sake of it that might actually be worse, because then there's literally not even a sliver of justification.

The sex scene wasn't terrible but it wasn't great either. I hate how it started, with tying Shinu's wrists and him being a bit drunk, but he was into it and he's just so pretty that I still enjoyed the visuals. But it definitely didn't feel like a first time together, and the constantly changing dick size is hilarious. I'm just disappointed that their first time played out this way, I guess, considering how Taeback has been so far. Manhwa has a tendency to have even bright green flag MLs suddenly regress into stock-standard shitty yaoi tops during sex and it's very frustrating.

Reading the novel and I didn't even know there was a manhwa! Was excited for it until I saw mentions of rape in the manhwa though, because what the fuck? Why would you ADD rape that's not even there!? The persistent manhwa thought process of "needs more smut" = "add rape" is absolutely disgusting. Ugh. Why.

Idk why but Jihan being like "did you bump into a desk!? I'll break that desk!!" was so funny to me.

Ahhhhhh I read the novel and now I'm even more excited about this manhwa. It's a great adaptation. Highly recommend if you can't wait for season 3.
