Sorry for the long reply, this isn’t an attack whatsoever. I just want to clarify. Let’s not compare Hyesung’s situation. He never really wanted the baby and was baby trapped by Dojin gaslit him into having the baby. Dojin even paid him as if he’s a surrogate, and Hyesung said no and just gave birth and left. He was planning to stay but overheard something and anxiously left. He was barely a minor, I don’t remember though. He wasn’t abandoned in the same way Hyesung’s mother abandoned Hyesung.

It is still abandonment I guess in strict emotional terms but it’s just not comparable, because Hyesung’s mom abandoned him for nearly his whole life and started a new family while knowing she left him in the hands of an abuser. Hyesung was being gaslighted into thinking it’s fine and was being hidden by Dojin’s friend, he never really had a choice after being raped. Did it still hurt byul?

Sure, but Hyesung was there for him in about every milestone. It’s something he would’ve never found out as a newborn unless told. I’d be more pissed off that my mother was basically forced to give birth, but I’m guessing Byul doesn’t know. He’s a kid so he shouldn’t have to hear all of this of course.

I just wouldn’t call it strictly abandonment, considering he didn’t leave Byul in the hands of an abuser. He left him in a safe place where Dojin would come and take care of him. It wasn’t abuse in the slightest. Honeyhawk isn’t completely wrong that Byul doesn’t know what it’s like to be living after abandonment, he was still taken care of, Hyesung came back pretty soon, Byul received attention love etc, all the things Hyesung didn’t.

It’s just not the same. Hence why it’s incomparable.

It’s odd for some to dislike a traumatized person who grew up without familial support but not mentioning the husband who got his way. Dojin raped him, gaslit him, etc. That’s why we love Hyesung more and feel more sorry for Hyesung than for Dojin. Dojin grew up in a well off and happy family. How in the world do some people expect me to like Dojin more or as equally? He’s just not likable enough to forgive his past action.

Dojin may be a good father and husband now, but it does not magically erase the things he did and has been doing. I don’t understand how it’s hard to have sympathy for someone like Hyesung. How do people not sympathize after knowing he went through all of this? I used to be a Hyseung hater and I was a kid at the time. I used to think Dojin was better. I have matured in that aspect.

It’s nice to see that Hyesung isn’t anxious to meet his mother anymore.
I remember him having a breakdown or something in the past.
He deserves closure, peace, and may this be the final.

How do we report uploaders, or is that not a feature here. I’m not aware if there is a feature like this in this website, but at this point we should use that feature because of the ai translations going around and people uploading risky comics.
