Omg! So Mullark is Big Brother? Or a subordinate of Big Brother? His story made it seem otherwise, but it kinda makes sense, though. I feel like we're nearing the end...

I'm looking to get into reading novels beyond romance, and I'm torn between Lord of the Mysteries (LotM) and Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint (ORV).
I've heard great things about LotM, and for ORV, I love action manhwa and want to read the novel first. I'm not asking which is objectively better, but I'm having trouble deciding which to start with.

Any recommendations on which one I should read first?

this vulnerable one loves yaoi May 20, 2025 1:48 pm

    orv 100%

    scude May 20, 2025 1:50 pm

my opinion, read orv and then go for lotm, orv is amazing with great characters great worldbuilding and plot right, (phenomenal writing aswell), lotm is quite similar too- its more focused on the plot and mystery aspect. both are amazing but just start with orv lol. lotm is a chinese novel, and usually chinese novels are a tad bit slow paced. its because of the way the mandarin language is written. once you savour the beautiful story that orv is, you will enjoy lotm i feel

    Clarra May 20, 2025 2:40 pm

Both are amazing but I think you should go for ORV first, LOTM is much longer then other novels and its a lot wordier too, I took like three months reading LOTM but I think that was also because it was during school too lol. The world building in LOTM is quite, well, "huge" and there are a lot of arcs too. Anyways, both are really really really good stories but it would be be better I think to read ORV first since its shorter than LOTM.

And as one of those who worships Lord Fool, The Fool that doesn’t belong to this era; The Mysterious Ruler above the Gray Fog; The King of Yellow and Black who wields good luck, I dearly welcome you to our little tarot club.

I hope you enjoy the world of LOTM once you read it.

Has anyone rewatched banana fish ? What was your experience watching it again ?

It's been a few years since I watched it, I've thought of rewatching it, but at the same time, I don't know if I can handle the pain again, should I watch it again or should I save myself from the pain ?

    jjon April 8, 2025 5:29 pm

I STILL refuse to watch it because I remember watching it years ago and everytime I saw like a reminder of it I was so sad. I say if you really want to but I wouldn’t

    YourMomisOnmyBed April 8, 2025 5:40 pm

Bro i was like 13 when i first watched it, it gave me so much pain as a child i stopped eating and cried for days cause wtf was that (i was recommended by someone they said its happy friendly anime give it a watch, then i was shot 57 times) i still haven't re watched it after that, i just can't, cause now as an adult, with more understanding, it will just inflict more trauma so my suggestion is dont do that to yourself lol

    DUMMY April 8, 2025 6:16 pm

I cried so much, i love the anime and manga but i cannot bring myself to go through it again. But it is a masterpiece

I also cried for days especially after reading angel eyes (my first manga ever) and everything else, I was in pain

Stawp, not someone recommending it to you that it's was a friendly anime, that's so cruel but my friend would do the same, I would have trust issues though, I'm sorry, and the shot 57 times is so real cause same, I also can't seem to rewatch it since then, thanks though, let's save ourselves from trauma, lol
